Bioware can shove Hawke where the sun don't shine, I have no Faith in Bioware.
You can't expect people to ditch characters everytime they create a new Dragon age hero.

Mass Effect fans get to keep Shepard! while Dragon age fans have to switch to some Hawke guy and god knows who comes after that.

Dragon age is about the world, but god characters are more important.

**** BIOWARE.

Cry me a friggen river. Did I get to keep my hero from Daggerfall? Or Morrowind? Or Oblivion? Or Fallout? Or Fallout 2? Or KoTOR?
The reality is that most games are like this, and you can't bash a company just because you're overattatched to a character.

Not that I dont agree with your post in some part but Morrowind and Obivion's characters where forgetable in the most extreme meaning of the word.

At least the warden has traces of normal human (err..elfish,dwarfish) personality.

You can bash a company if they take away your favourite character if you want, and you can certainly bash a company for changing so many good things about DAO that wont be included in DA2.

Anyone seen the DA2 Gameplay? I know it's early, but it looks really generic and mundane...

DA2 feels like an expansion and not a real sequel at all. Pity.Posted Image

Did you see the gameplay where Hawke is jumping about in the air like a ballerina, with swooshing colourful effect and stuff? "Think like a general, fight like a ballerina...?"  HMMM....Posted Image

Aww gez I just don't know anymore ....Bioware seem to give us everything we don't want. Maybe DA2 will be alright...like Awakening, but it certainly won't be better than the first.

RAWRRRRRRRRRRR OLD CHARACTERS 4EVA MOTHA F8CKERS! LOL

*Cough* sorry had to get that off my chest. Posted Image

I am wondering how many people are going to storm the HQ of bioware after this dlc is operational

Exalted March, you mean?

At this point though, any Wardens that have romanced Morrigan have been smacked upside the head with the Plot Hammer and kicked in the balls so much that another disappointing ending like is hinted at with Witch Hunt is just beating a dead horse at this point.

If its as inconclusive as Gamespot made it out to be, my faith in BioWare to complete a meaningful story will take a big hit and I'll likely give up on DA.

I am thinking more on the lines of pitch forks and angry men possibly wemon shouting and screaming and maker knows what else =]

DA2 feels like an expansion? So I guess from the playthrough that you've done of it you've come to this conclusion?

They already said it was shorter than the first, and... Hawke is voiced so we won't have as much dialog time as in Origins, so why not?

Hmmm, so is this what is referred to by Laidlaw as the "leaping into action and attacking instantly" part of the new ( apparently improved ) combat system in DA 2 ?

Hence him leaping...and moving really quickly.

Not being able to attend said cons where demos are being shown, I have to make assumptions based on others descriptions.

Elder scrolls aren´t about characters (or plot) but exploration. And AFAIK, there are no big plot points left open. Fallouts have a closed arch for characters without big cliffhangers and by the time of each sequel so far the previous PC has died of old age. The less said about the Kotors the better. Kotor 2 made Kotor 1 rather pointless, TOR means Revan and Exile most likely failed. <_<. And whatever BW say, story and MMO don´t fit together. As a start, no real ending as long as people play.

It was revealed by mistake, I believe, Gaider wanted it a full surprise - they all go on about "you won't be disappointed"...

Do we trust Mike? Or will Gaider have the last laugh on of poor Morrigan romancers. I would like to believe we get some kind of closure or happy ending, seems unlikely with David Gaiders reputation.

Now that is not even a surprise. Dog will die anyway. No, if David prepared something mean - prepare to cry for real. It won't be just a dead dog.

Never cried with a game. The closest is "From the Wreckage" in ME. Now maybe we´ll cry with frustation rather than sadness...
It can´t be worse than we are saying here I think.

If you romanced Morrigan, she turns out to be a man.
