where was it stated that there are hidden endings that gamespot did not get to see - because it sounds like they got to play the whole dlc - and it sucks - I agree I really do not want to pay 7 dollars to be more frustrated than at the end of origins - I would rather just stick to my awakenings ending if thats the case - main game excluded (it was tremendous) how can Bioware make a relatively bug free game with great dlc in ME2 and make crappy (IMO) disconnected and terribly bugged dlc/expansion for origins?  again origins was a 10 IMO but it has been downhill since - while ME2 has been basically bug free (despite transfering all those variables fro ME) and the dlc seems to be uptrending Kasumi to Overlord to Shadowbroker) -

I don't know if this has been said before, but I don't feel like going through 88 pages.

What if Morrigan somehow turned into the monster?

I was set to dl immediately when available, but now I will download shadowbroker immediately and then wait on witch hunt - 7.00 is not much to pay for a dlc, BUT, paying 7.00 fro the pleasure of being more frustrated than when I started is just stupid..and the lack of promotion for the dlc and the rushed effort that seems to have gone into it also speak to its overall quality - sucks too, because I was hoping it was going to be shadowbroker quality - and it is clearly NOT -

There was a Bioware post a couple of pages back stating that the version tested by Gamespot did not have all the possible ending dialogues or something like that.

Now mind you this could just mean they didn't include a couple of unimportand lines....but could also mean they saved a few clarifications and conclusions for the final version.

I am gonna wait and see before I judge it :)

And beside.. DA is such a great game so more of it is just great.. cant wait to see what morrigan have to say of new sarcastic comments.. Just a shame I cant bring Allistair... her constant poking fun of him have made me smile plenty of times.

I wonder if this will be the first DLC that'd be worth its money in regards to DA:O.

Chances are it will not. Surprising? Not quite.

Lair of the Shadow Broker in the same day. Even if this one fails, I have really high hopes for the other one after what i've seen in Overlord.

I have some questions. Sorry if I seem out of the loop, but:

- What is the story of this DLC exactly?

- When does it take place, in regards to Origins?

- If it takes place after Origins, does it assume the ending where Morrigan leaves?

ITA - and the trailer for shadowbroker looks amazing - another thing that is superior to da dlc is that Me2 uses new environments for their dlc - shadowbroker is getting downloaded first thing definately

I don't play ME, maybe in the future I will. However, so far all DLCs struck me as a way to get ridiculous items into the game which makes the game easier than it already is originally, while the DLCs all felt epicly disconnected from the main campaign. Awakening didn't come remotely close to the main game as well.

Feels like everything was designed to milk rather than genuinely offer a proper game flow and story.

Yes, I'm well aware I don't have to use the items, nor play / buy the DLCs, that however doesn't change any of the facts.

takes palce one year after origins - which is 6 months awakenings - it carry's over whatever choices you made regarding Morrigan - which at the risk of a spoiler for origins - includes her always leaving at some point in origins

to bad you do not play ME as the dlc is far superior to DA - hard to beleive that the same company makes both dlc

Wow! So you'll get to actually import a completed Origins story before you can play?

1. It has something to do with the Dalish origin mirror (that's what I've heard at least), and Morrigan was sighted in the area, so you go looking. She apparently "reveal" her intentions from what I've read.
2. I think it takes place 1 years after Origins.
3. Morrigan leaves no matter what you do, but whether or not you performed the Dark Ritual, among other things, could be factors that come into play when you confront her.

Hope this helps! Posted Image

Man, you should give it a try, the game is pretty epic. Sure it has some weapons and armor DLC's but the said Overlord story one was probably the best DLC i've played.

And in defense of Dragon Age...Return to Ostagar, although pretty short was a nice storyline addition. Especially if you had Loghain in your party.

yes you can import from origins, awakenings, or GOA...though the last two will only affect your equipment and level not anything to do with morrigan dialogue anyways - fyi, if you have dog in origins he also is the mabari in witch hunt
