If Morrigan survives this DLC, I'm hoping for war to breakout between Morrigan and Flemeth!

Oh me too! Posted Image I can't wait for Morrigan and Flemeth to come face to face again, maybe Morrigan uses the god child against Flemeth, anyways it's going to be excitinggggggggg. If it ever happens...Posted Image

Let me shed some light in the matter.

If you choose to make the Ultimate Sacrifice you warden is dead. End of story. However, if you start Awakening the warden you play is not the original, but an Orlesian warden recently moved to Ferelden.

So the revived thing it's just as if I had create the orlesian warden and imported all my choices from Origins??? Does everybody treat you as the orlesian warden and not the grey warden??

Because I'm been looking for a question to this a loooooooong time and nobody answer me. I have a post on DA2 forum also about this question and nobody has told me that the Awakening revive worked like that....

I don't understand why it's so hard to Bioware to explain it....

I would like to know how will be worked the import of our saved files if we did the US.
Will be our warden revive as on Awakening? or will be able to create a new character AND import our choices from Origins?
Also I would like to know which was the default choices for the Orlesian warden (if we import him) and how will be manage if we revive our grey warden on Awakening and play with him on With Hunt (he refuse the Ritual but he's revive so....)
I guess you could answer this because the DLC will be release in less than 24 h.
Thanks.

I don't see how you can create a new character AND import choices from the OC. Your "new" character didn't participate in the OC. He's a stranger in town.

In Awakening, the Warden didn't "revive". It was a form of the Blight that "revived". The Warden was simply continuing his adventures.

I'm sorry but I don't understand you. What's the OC? And what do "a form of the blight revived" means??

If I didn't do the ritual and I made the sacrificed to kill the archdemon I'm dead. How can I continue my adventures?? I never understood how the revived thing on Awakening works....

And I want to import the choices from my dead Origins' warden to the new character in With Hunt because even if this new character is "stranger in town" I think the way Morrigan acts will vary if you did make the ritual and if you didn't, no matter which character talk to her. Don't you?

That's also why I want to know which are the default choices that will be import with the orlesian warden... Was the ritual made or not? I hope that if this is the end of that chapter from Origins there will be a different.... It must be a different. Has Morrigan a baby or not? No matter which character you play with.

The OC is the Original Campaign. That's the first game.

In your post you mentioned "creating" a new character, which is an option, and is what I reponded to. A "new" character won't have made any "choices" in the OC because he wasn't present in the OC, and presumably hasn't ever even met Morri.

As to how your Warden may have been "revived" from the OC, I have no idea. Mine didn't die, so I don't know how that ending was handled, nor any resultant "revival" in later DLCs or Awakening.

But the term "Awakening" in that expansion refers to what the Architect is doing, not an "awakening" by the Warden.

About a new character:
What I say it's that I don't care which character made the decisions on Origins about the Dark Ritual... this decision has an impact on the story of Morrigan (With Hunt DLC). So if I didn't do the ritual and I sacrificed my warden and I don't want to revive him (because I don't know how this works) I'm supossed to create a new character. My question is: Will I be able to import my choices to this new character so the game respect my decision of not doing the ritual and sacrificed myself or I won't be able? If I'm not able, Is the default choice in this new character that the grey warden from origins didn't do the ritual and sacrificed himself??

And for the Orlesian warden from Awakening.... Because I wasn't able to import my decisions from Origins... Is the default choice, again, that the grey warden didn't do the ritual and sacrifed himself??

And for the revived warden: How am I supossed to be alive??? I going to met Morrigan and she told me "Hey.... You didn't do my ritual but I can see your alive anyway.... How did you do it???"

Or simplier: How can I play With Hunt with the option: No ritual and Sacrifed grey warden???

I don't know if I'm not explain myself....

(I know that "Awakening" does not refer to the warden ;-))

You're explaining yourself just fine.

Let me refer you to what bloodreaperfx wrote:

"Now, if you import the Orlesian warden in the witch hunt DLC, i presume Morrigan either acts as if it is the first time she sees you, however we dont yet know WHY you are looking for her if you dont know her. Perhaps you just stumble across Flemeth's hut.

"Or, they will make a few default choices just like in Mass Effect 2 if you start a new character. What those will be, we dont know. Perhaps they'll take the Dark ritual as default, or perhaps not. We'll have to see."

That's a great explanation.

Probably in about 20 hours or so. Roughly.

Given previous releases that's about right.

I have read and I have answered ;-) But the questions now is:

If I revived my grey warden on Awakening the game treat him as the Orlesian warden or as the Grey warden...? If revive the grey warden it's not really a revive but a way to play as the orlesian warden with all your choices... great! I have no more quesions...

But if the revived warden it's not the orlesian one but the grey warden alive-nobody-knows-how..... I have still a problem....

Really I would like someone on Bioware could come here and explain everything about the import options and the revived warden....

If the Origins warden made the ultimate sacrifice, anything you play in Awakening will be treated as an Orleasian warden.

Nobody has been revived, everyone that died in Origins is still dead, so if you chose the Ultimate Sacrifice then your Warden is dead, now when you import your save from Origins onto Awakening you'll be playing as the Orlesian Warden, but all of the choices you made in Origins will transfer. (Who you picked to be king, etc.)

Guess that makes up for not having mods lulz.

So does that mean xbox users will be able to download in about 6 - 7 hours? Posted Image

360 always seems to get the DLC early- so long as BioWare's servers don't melt down between Witch Hunt and Shadow Broker tomorrow, all is well.
