Whaaaaaaa...? (Regarding Morrigan DLC)

If no, this is BS. I actually wanted the whole Morrigan plot to be tied up in DA2 but if you can import your game save and the DLC plays out according to the decision then I guess I'm happy.
I mean, I don't mind creating a new character and playing this just to find out what happened to Morrigan.

Well, look at the poor poster's handle. I would be testy if I had to sign that on every check, too.

Anyways, I'm not jumping to any conclusions; that's why I opened the thread. I'm just saying...IF that is the case, I'll be disappointed. I checked the offical page for the DLC and there wasn't anything mentioned about it there.

On the specific point of decisions in Origins carrying forward -- or not -- in expansions, the fans have had a pretty hard lesson in how to interpret a lack of information.

The choices you made in Dragon Age: Origins will affect Witch Hunt. They do not have to, you can start a new PC and play Witch Hunt without having completed DA:O, but if you choose to use a saved game, you will have repercussions available.
Thanks Chris!! Now it looks like I will have to play through DA:O and Awakening for this as well as going through Mass Effect again. With College having started this week I don't know what to do. lol
Honestly this is the first DLC for Dragon Age I have looked forward to in a while. I like story continuing DLC's better than flashbacks like "Leliana's Song". Even though "Leliana's Song" was good and I enjoyed it, I think I will like Witch Hunt better.

Thanks for the confirmation. My latest character had some choice words for Morrigan when she offered the ritual. Is it possible to confirm for us whether we can import a save from Golems, as opposed to Origins or Awakening?

...what? Why wouldn't you be able to talk with her, it's a DLC based purely on her...

Considering that Awakening butchered the import of Morrigan's romance flags in getting the Morrigan epilogue slide in Awakening, I am concerned about the import process for this DLC.
This. I haven't picked up Awakening yet, but I've heard about some really odd happenings with the Morrigan Romance flags. Is there any way to tell if I need to redo an entire character because some flags were incorrectly set?

You missed the /sarcasm flag. See OP for more details.
Also, I thought the botched romance things were fixed in Patch 1.04?

I haven't really played much DA dlc, it's mostly been mass effect for me. But this sounds worthwhile.

Morrigan is only mentioned in the Awakening Epilogue if you either romanced her or swore to find her after origins. Then all is says is that you went looking for her... How is that being butchered?

I have a couple of questions. Why so small a DLC? I guess I just ASSUMED that Morrigan's story was going to be a much bigger plot and have a much larger effect on Thedas. Also the same with the Architect. Surely there are implications involving him. Or does he simply go in to the deep roads after Awakening and keep the darkspawn at bay and experiment in peace? Also, chronologically, is this DLC after the events of GOA? Because if I understood it correctly, that was actually a part of the story and not just a dungeon crawl. And last but not least, can you import from GOA? My most complete character is there.
Well most likely shes only a few months being prego, so its most likely just finding where she may be hiding. All DLC is small unless its an expansion. Cant answer your GOA question though.
