I had the epilogue in which Morrigan was mentioned once in DA:A, but a patch screwed it up, I do not receive it any more.

So, you think because the epilogue doesn't mention Morrigan, that that's a butcher?
There is an epilogue in Awakening that has the Warden chase after Morrigan if he romanced her. Unfortunately, for some odd reason her romance flags in Origins can get messed up and the game will think you never romanced her at all.
It usualy happens if you talk to her after her farewell speech at the Gates of Denerim, during the final battle.
That's the "butchering" the OP was refering to.

I have a couple of questions. Why so small a DLC? I guess I just ASSUMED that Morrigan's story was going to be a much bigger plot and have a much larger effect on Thedas. Also the same with the Architect. Surely there are implications involving him. Or does he simply go in to the deep roads after Awakening and keep the darkspawn at bay and experiment in peace? Also, chronologically, is this DLC after the events of GOA? Because if I understood it correctly, that was actually a part of the story and not just a dungeon crawl. And last but not least, can you import from GOA? My most complete character is there.
Well most likely shes only a few months being prego, so its most likely just finding where she may be hiding. All DLC is small unless its an expansion. Cant answer your GOA question though.
EDIT:OH GOD SPOILERS SORRY
Read my reply below if you have already beaten DA.
It takes place a year after the Archdemon is killed.Sooo the baby should be born by then.

Yes, I'd really like to hear a response to this one.

Sucks that it is not a full expansion, I really wanted to see the child grow into someone that could change the world of Dragon Age in some way or another considering it will be a demi-god-ish person. Oh well, we'll see how that shapes up.
My guess is that any Old God Kid stuff will be saved for DA3...

BW could release all info the moment they announce a new DLC or game, but I guess people would complain about spoilers and that everything is so predictable if that happened...

*Endgame spoiler*
What if your Warden didn't accept her ritual and as a result met his doom? Assuming we can retcon it like in Awakening, how would the story advance in that case?

Then I imagine it's much like Awakening. Your Warden pops back into life, says "I got better", and goes on his/her merry way.Gageon wrote...
I have multiple play-throughs with Morrigan's relationship at different stages but I am curious about something:

I'm curious as to what the DLC will be like if your female Warden refused the ritual and Alistair sacrificed himself as a result... or if you convinced Alistair to do the boogey with her... cat fight? In Jell-O? :innocent:

And if you don't it affects DA2. The default being you kill the baby or don't romance Morrigan.
Am i hoping for too much?
Or some cheap ending where the baby survives regardless of your murderous or parental intent, which would then cheaply explain a default in DA2...
