I'm not sure why people would want Morrigan to appear in DA2, you'd be playing a character that (presumably) never met her, so none of the important topics (DR, warden romance, etc) would come up in conversation, Closure = 0. It would be the same for any other Origins characters in DA2, so just leave them out of it.



More importanty, however, I'm really looking forward to the 7th. Two cool looking DLCs on the same day! Although I wasn't aware that Morrigan was a loose end in my story, I thought her story ended when she left Redcliffe, could be interesting.

Why does everyone assume it's some special baby, maybe it's just a normal one but with that old god soul stored inside him with little to no effect on him.

Ah but the demo I played showed a young Flemeth. I think it is depending on your playthrough in DAO

Noooo!!!! If they have Flemeth take over Morrigan, I'm going to kill her no matter what it takes. First off, Flemeth is a monster, possessing the bodies of human beings. Secondly, when I made my displeasure known by killing her, SHE CONTINUED TO DO SO!?!? There can be no forgiveness.

Er... As I understand it that picture is from just after Hawke escapes from Lothering, meaning that it's happening while the Warden and Morrigan are going around Ferelden raising an army, so unless Flemeth is a time traveller too, I doubt it can be Flemeth in Morrigan's body.

Ummm.. you have noticed they've totally changed the looks of just about everything in DA2? And to boot Flemeth is a shapeshifter? So her having yellow eyes to match up with Morrigan's look along with the feathers on the outfit, is likely nothing sinister, just a byproduct of them overhauling/retconning everything visually...

Indeed--just look at what they've done to my favorite armor. Sigh. That better be a leather version..... I notice they haven't changed the size of women's boobs, though--still about the same size as their heads.

the whole story is being told by Varric who doesnt always tell the truth. these screenshots and scenes were described by Varric. So we can speculate all we want, the truth will only be known to our Wardens and what they decided to do to Flemeth and Morrigan in DAO. The DLC will probably give us even more choices as to the fates of these two individuals. Everyones story about Flemeth and Morrigan is going to be different! the Canon story is going to be loose and vague no matter what

OK, the fact that your wardens decisions can carry over to DA2. I feel will affect each look of flemeth. Maybe she'll have Morrigan's eyes or maybe her eyes will look like the old ones. You also need to think of that this is the future of a ten year period so what we might be seeing is something from around the middle of the story. I don't think when morrigan leaves you her hair will turn white. If flemeth takes over morrigan she would not take the white hair. I'm sorry white hair is not hot unless I was 40 something.  Flemeth likes to be beautiful so her having long DArk hair would make sense. She maybe just meeting up.

Storm, in the X Men, has white hair and I think it can be said that she is rather hot...

I don't know if this will be talked about, but from what I read. Morrigans story is going to end with the New DLC which is coming out so what I have confirmed so far is she will not be in DA2 sense it seems Bioware wants to wrap up her story in the new DLC.
Now am I a little disappointed. OF COURSE! AHHH! I just wanted her to make an appearance, but I would like to know how the DLC decisions would affect your Hawkes reactions through the story line if you choose to by it. Any thoughts?

I still don't understand the overwhelming crazyness about wanting Morrigan in DA2.  Heck I'm not screaming for Alistair or any other companion in DA2.

  In my first playthrough, I 'killed' flemeth and Did the Dark Ritual with Morigan, mostly because I figured the alternative was the death of my charecter (We all knew Rhiodran was going to bite it.)

My buddy, on the other hand, took Flemeth's offer to lie to Morrigan and then he refused the Dark Ritual out of spite (he is not of Morigan fan).

Whatever happens in the DLC, I still think that there is a very good chance that Morrigan's actions will have an effect on Thedas and that we ( we doesn't have to be the Grey Warden) will have to deal with it in a
future Dragon Age game.
I would be dsapponted in Bioware if the DLC would be more than the conclude more than the Warden's relationship with Morrigan. I think that Morrigan or/and whatever plans she has with thechild, will live on.

I'm alright with DA2 being it's own thing with maybe cameos from our old companions and our warden, but I really like that the story of Thedas is not just the story of one person who decides the future of the continent. It will be cool to see how the stories overlap and diverge. There are other interesting people and I'd like to meet them

IF per say you can kill morrigan in this DLC. Then Flemeth and morrigan won't go hand in hand so this theory is bull until proven write which you have two weeks to find out so in two weeks you can come back and then rub it in. lol but until two weeks you can't.

Honestly my money is on two of the most likely scenarios.

Morrigan is possessed by mother.

Morrigan's baby is possessed by mother, then mother kills Morrigan.

Either way we lose Morrigan, it just remains to be seen how this affects the Warden. I foresee our Warden being killed in some fashion or another at this point irrevocably.
