I think the DLC will end Morrigan's story in 'Origins' or at least give it a feeling of closure. I doubt this will really be the end of her in the Dragon Age games.

Flemeth's eyes in that screenshot are gold they are also gold in the concept art. Perhaps the color on your monitor is off?

Yep, and so are Morrigan's eyes. Seems too convenient a setup for Flemeth NOT to claim Morrigan. Pretty sad an end, but it's the likely scenario.

Or you know, the fact that Flemeth is the mother of Morrigan? Or that they're both shapeshifters?

Anyways, I was hoping this would be the last we see of Morrigan, but she is still around even with people who didn't do the Dark Ritual. I also can't believe that the rumors of her traveling to the Frostback Mountains were false... Maybe BioWare isn't all that organized because that was out of knowhere.

Why are people doubting that Flemeth is Morrigan's actual birth mother?
Because there is an actual dialogue in which Morrigan tells you she isn't sure if Flemeth was the woman who gave birth to her. Of course, it doesn't really matter to her, as Flemeth was the one who raised her and Morrigan would have nothing in common with possible "family" that she's never met.

Plus it's the perfect reason to stop chasing her around, and also why you could never find her if you went looking.
So this is my guess: You either witness Morrigan getting possessed or free her somehow.
The god baby if you had it, was squirreled away by Morrigan after it was born to prevent Flemeth from getting her hands on it. Thus the god baby is a dangling plotline that can A) Never be referred back to, or
So enjoy!

Where was it said that the OGB wasn't default (I think that's what you meant). Will every player have an OGB running around? No. Will every player new to the DA series yet for some stupid reason starts on DA2 have an OGB running around? Maybe, it isn't confirmed yet. Will we have an entire game in which we play as Morrigan's child (either mortal or immortal)? That is practically guaranteed.SOLID_EVEREST wrote...
The developers already said that the Old God Baby isn't cannon. If Morrigan doesn't die/leaves forever, I have no idea how they will complete the "epic" storyline that you guys are mentioning for Dragon Age 3. I guess it will only be for people that did the Dark Ritual lol.

YES YES YES!
I don't care if she's in da2 or not or whatever, I just want closure
Great!
Now one problem..
I don't want to pay with credit card to get the DLC, I'm happy to pay by some other means. I just never use the internet for the credit card. Don't trust it.
Is there another way.... please please please
Sorry to be so pressing but it's only like 10 days away and I'd like to download it as fast as possible, maybe the same day
If there is another way please tell me. I'll also do some search for other means of payement
Thank you

I don't know if this will be talked about, but from what I read. Morrigans story is going to end with the New DLC which is coming out so what I have confirmed so far is she will not be in DA2 sense it seems Bioware wants to wrap up her story in the new DLC.
Now am I a little disappointed. OF COURSE! AHHH! I just wanted her to make an appearance, but I would like to know how the DLC decisions would affect your Hawkes reactions through the story line if you choose to by it. Any thoughts?
Sigh*
Morrigans story is only a dlc's worth?
This so so sucks.
Talk about taking a dump on continuation. <_<

There's still the theory that Morrigan could be one of Maric's, not that I support it but it's out there.
That would be kind of disgusting and horrific, given that you can get Alistair to father the child.

I think I've just heard Gaider laughing. That's exactly what I would expect from DA writers...DaringMoosejaw wrote...

In "The Stolen Throne", Maric meets Flemeth and makes her a promise. The reader never is directly told what that promise is and nothing ever seemed to come of this promise. Because Morrigan appears to be the right age, some readers infered that Maric is the father.

Interesting. I just now finished awaking and I was surprised *SPOILER* when at the end it said "The warden commander left vigils keep to look for the dark haired mage" (something like that). I guess the DLC knew I had done the dark ritual, and decided to look for morrigan at the end. The point im getting at is that I hope The witch hunt ends with something that sets up DA2. I want the morrigan DLC to tie into DA2 somehow.
