...Or perhaps, in a crazy twist of fate, Morrigan is a daughter of Momma Hawke? That would be a shocker, though really quite cheesy.

Bioware is notorious and I mean N-O-T-O-R-I-U-S for CHEESY!

The example is this thread I made. Its all about bioware's cheesiness!
http://social.biowar...1/index/3095341

But going  back to what another player refered to. They haven't even told us if the Decisions from this DLC will effect the DA2 game. This is important because it would make my morrigan love story have some meaning!

Morrigan was a much more interesting character than Captain Janeway and should have been the main force in DA2.

I disagree. Flemeth in her short time on screen imo, showed much more character, and overall potential then Morrigan.

A lot of people just leave after conversation with Flemeth and Alistair after she saves you from tower. But you can actually talk to Flemeth again before you go to Lothering, and learn a lot of interesting things.

And I'm almost sure that Flemeth is Fen'Harel.

I would hope so. And I think the DLC does not bring closure to Morrigan's story but only ties the lose ends in the Warden/Morrigan story. Whatever that means.

The Morrigan in the DLC will be A Morrigan.. Not THE Morrigan.

this is already sort of confirmed by mike Laidlaw in an interview he implied that Morrigan would be back in DA3
here's the video it is in English on a french site

www.rpgfrance.com/actu-7630-interview-mike-laidlaw-sur-dragon-age

Edit: he says something like it it too obvious to continue Morrigans story in DA2  already
but i do believe that she will appear at some point in DA2 for some rason ;)

I'm betting Morrigan will get possessed by Flemeth in the end. She was, after all, 100% convinced that Flemeth would return eventually, and had serious doubts about her abilities to emerge victorious from such a confrontation.

Plus it's the perfect reason to stop chasing her around, and also why you could never find her if you went looking.

So this is my guess: You either witness Morrigan getting possessed or free her somehow.

The god baby if you had it, was squirreled away by Morrigan after it was born to prevent Flemeth from getting her hands on it. Thus the god baby is a dangling plotline that can A) Never be referred back to, or B) Kept vague enough that they can literally do anything with it.

So enjoy!

if she stayed with the warden instead of leaving, then she owuldnt have anything to fear. my warden beat flemmeths ass in origins.

i wouldve wanted the story to continue with the warden and morrigan in the future DA games (assuming morrigan will be in future DA titles). I did the dark ritual and stuff so if the warden is just cut off it would be upsetting

agreed

but look at the video i posted a link to i a few posts earlier Morrigan Will be in future DA games her story isn't over yet
had hoped it would be with the warden but that chance seems very small but not impossible .
since i believe no one will die in the DLC
so they have an opening to bring the warden back if they want to . the only question is  will they?

I don't think so. They would have to make the Warden a Bhaalspawn type of character who goes becoming a god or fighting gods or somethint to top the DA:O story, so I think the Warden's story ends with DA:O+ expansions + DLCs. In DA3 I would expect a new hero, since the reason why the Warden isn't in DA2 anymore is that there were too many decisions that could not fit in a story with the Warden as main protagonist. And same will be with Hawke. If they wanted to make multiple games featuring the same character (plus companions) then they would have to go the MassEffect road.

check out her eyes! dude i think you're on to something. i bet you morrigan was already taken by flemeth in this upcoming dlc

i think i pointed that out a while ago with flemmeths eyes. al we can do is speculate but she does have a resemblance to morrigan. Morrigan was probably my favorite character in Dragon Age origins and i would like to see they plan on doing with her. I would like morrigan to remain with the warden but that seems unlikely since she left regardless if she was in love with you. My guess is you will end up having to fight morrigan.

well you might be right but i guess we will see what happens,
since both options you named seem a possibility  but i was only speculating on a possible return of the warden
but  i have to agree that it seems unlikely

to people saying morrigan should be in DA2, the warden story is over, and morrigan was associated with the warden... this was what made it so powerful.

you can't make a mind transfer to hawke and say i love you morrigan (and you look better 10 years older)

agreed completely, it wont be the same or even have the same impact,
but i still believe She will appear in DA2
probably not as a companion but if Flemeth is a party member than you can be sure that her personal Quest will be something that involves Morrigan in some way,
at the very least it will start something in that direction.

or Morrigan might just be a Quest giver in a similar way as Wynne did in Awakening
i could be wrong tho and she might not be appearing at all before DA3

Take a close look and you will notice how Flemeth tries to peek at Bethany`s breasts. Big stuff like that cant even be ignored by women.

Where was it said that the OGB wasn't default (I think that's what you meant). Will every player have an OGB running around? No. Will every player new to the DA series yet for some stupid reason starts on DA2 have an OGB running around? Maybe, it isn't confirmed yet. Will we have an entire game in which we play as Morrigan's child (either mortal or immortal)? That is practically guaranteed.

Your name is aptly chosen.  With confirmation that the Dark Ritual isn't canon (Gaider's words were "if you did it, it happened, if you didn't do it, it never happened") then an entire game where you play as Urthemiel Reborn is not merely not guaranteed, it's becoming less likely all the time.  Granted, Witch Hunt might give us some new info in that regard, but as it stands, Gaider's words infer that the "default" setting is that the Dark Ritual was refused by the Warden.

On a related note, I'll be slightly dumbfounded if the DR is mentioned in DA2.  That's the kind of thing you keep secret in Thedas.  An ancient blood magic ritual that  preserves the life of the Archdemon, albeit in a different form?  You don't go announcing that one to anybody.  People have come up with all kinds of stupid reasons that the new game will break their immersion, but that one really will yank me right out of the story.

The plot of Dragon Age 2 is Hawke revealing the sexuality of a notorious witch and myth.....

Flemeth is in fact....a lesbian.....

I see the only true way to wrap up morrigans story is DA 2. Depending on your choice in this DLC, but I don't think Bioware's going to care about that. Hmmm, I'm really wondering now if the decisions you make will transfer to DA2 after you do a DLC. Does anyone else think bioware will do this for us?

Its not a spoiler its a simple question I would like answered. Well bioware be letting us Transfer the decision from the DLC's of origins to DA2?

Yup. I remember reading that specifically  in the Gameinformer article. I'm pretty sure Occam has the info on his "what do we know so far" thread. I'm thinking the decisions you made in DLC's will be far less significant than those in origins, but it's still nice to know that even those will carry over in some way, even if it is small.

In one of his PAX interviews, David Gaider said Claudia Black wouldn't be voicing any characters in Dragon Age 2. She might return later in the franchise, but don't hold your breath.

He might have lied you know... Saying that Claudia Black is voicing a character could lead people to realize that Morrigan is returning, and that he didn't want.
