Greetings. I was playing Dragon Age earlier today on the PC, and I decided to download and install the 1.01 patch. I downloaded the patch through this Web site and installed it. However, I can not launch the game now. When I click on "play" on the AutoRun menu, nothing happens. Does anybody have any idea what's going on and how to fix the problem?
Thank you in advance.
Problems with the 1.01 patch.

Same problem Rawlsian, had to uninstall the game and re-install discarding the patch. You can keep savegames and profile settings. Have to download DLC again though.
Hopefully it gets fixed soon!!!

Ah, that sucks. Well, at least I'm not the only one having this problem. Maybe a fix will come.
Thanks for the advice.

Yea that 1.01 patch fudge up everything, i'm getting blue screens. Plus once you get furthur into the game the problems get worst opening items or opening the map the game flutters.
Plus the game now takes 4 mins in between loads, it's kind of pissing me off.

uninstalling the patch can actually create additional problems... there are fixes for the actual problems that can be traced to the patch specifically (they're listed in the Patch 1.01 Fix sticky at the top of the forum)
