"FanExpo
So, our PSA will have to wait, as FanExpo was so exciting that I got distracted by all the shiny things it had to offer *but don't worry fellow friends, we managed to snap a couple of beard shots!*
We didn't get to ask any celebrities about beards, but I DID get a chance to meet Lance Henrikson, who as you all should know gave his voice to Admiral Hackett of Mass Effect 1.
I did inquire if he knew anything about ME3 *oh, sneaky me!* but he doesn't. He did tell me that he enjoyed the role and wouldn't mind reprising it *HINT HINT BIOWARE!!!*

So, we will try to get the PSA done, and some photos submitted.
As for the bearding itself, Matt has stubble :o And his Deadpool costume was a hit ;) "

Beard on friends!

Glad you got to see lots of shiny's lookin forward to seeing the Deadpool costume you made, gotta love the Deadpool:P you lookin forward to Marvel versus Capcom 3?

I would say my beard is at least as powerful if not more so, Johan Hegg from Amon Amarth has a more powerful beard than that, sorry not that impressive :P

I agree, Johan Hegg has a much better beard. In fact, Johan's beard is so powerful it could destroy the entire darkspawn army.

There is no chin behind Johan Hegg's beard. There is only Thor's Hammer

Mini Update!

Okay, so I'm trying to think of ideas on how to make trophies (For the Real and Fake beard contest, don't have anything "official" yet, but working on it guys and gals ;) ) but in the meantime I'm thinking of doing a different contest.

I'm going to talk it over with Matt *haven't seen him since Saturday D: * and decide what it will be. I've already got prizes, and they're kinda cool :) I tried to keep them DA related, don't know if I accomplished it though.

When we get the contest showing I'll reveal the prizes *they're not huge, cost me $30 to get it together*

I will tell you that there are only 2 prizes, one for a girl and one for a guy. No second place prizes, sorry.

Stay tuned for more info!!!

I'm tempted, I've grown several beards of extraordinary magnitude in my life so far. The Scottish/Irish genes have gifted me greatly in this respect. I just found this thread a day ago so I'm fairly far behind all the other participants. I only have a day's stubble, though it's enough to scale a fish with. Maybe I'll just let the hair on the top of my head grow!

^Fear not! All beards are welcome :)

@Highland:

I know D: Makes me sad :(
I blame Matt. Since he disappeared, this thread has died. *I seriously have lost him. Didn't see him since Saturday*.

If anyone sees a 22 year old male, shirtless *most likely e_e*, half-sleeve tattoo *is that what it's called?*, with unkempt beardage *or stubble* please contact me. If he is equiped with spandex, don't be alarmed. That's fairly normal.

Seriously though, I need him here. I have many ideas for this Bearding, and I can't do it on my own D:

I found out Matt isn't coming home tonight either.

He better be a Bearded God by tomorrow D:<

**I'm going to have to make this PSA by myself it seems ... :/ Which means I have to somehow give myself a beard ._.

To beard, or not to beard: that is the quest(ion):
Whether ‘tis nobler in the face to suffer
To deny foam and aftershaves at outrageous prices,
Or to take arms against a sea of follicles,
And by shaving end them? To exfoliate: to shave;
No more; and by growing to say we end
The razor burn and the thousand ingrown hairs
That shaving is heir to, ‘tis a consummation
Devoutly to be wish’d. To grow: to comb;
To comb: perchance to style: ay, there’s the rub:
For in that combing what food particles may drop
When we have thrown away our automatic shavers,
Must give us pause: there’s the action
That makes the beard so long and full
For who would bear the looks and stares,
Of the beard coveters, the follicly-challenged,
The pangs of dribbled soup, the ****** crumbs,
The disapproval of management and the spurns
That sprouting hairs may visit
When he himself might not be able to beard
Even with Rogaine? who would fardels bear,
To trim and style under a bathroom mirror,
But that the dread of slow growth may make,
The undiscover’d genes from whose gaze
No bearder escapes, puzzles the will
And makes us forsake our beardless fathers
And try Beard Club for Men that we know not of?
Thus cowardice does make beardless of us all;
And thus the natural length given of evolution
Is sicklied o’er with the pale cast of propriety,
And beards of great length and fullness
With this regard may turn scraggly,
And lose the name of action. – But grow you now!
Faithful bearder! Hero, go forth in thy follicle sprouting attempt
And your epic beardness shall forever be remember’d.
