Strong family resemblance there. You should be proud.

Thanks definitely proud and i am sure i posted this already but my last name Is Mcleod, the Macleods are decendants Of Olaf the black the norse king of man, German on my dads side.

You seem to know a lot about your Ancestry. My family name is McLean. Other than it being Scottish I don't really know much else about it.

Ancestry can be tricky sometimes. And it especially gets foggy in Australia since so many people from all over Europe picked up and moved there all at once and took very little with them.

Well my father was actually born in England, so it might be a bit easier finding out about his side of the family.

I'm thinkin the ladies need to post some pics of themselves :P

I've seen several of the beard lovin' ladies post their pics on here - some with beards too.  They are brave and wonderful women!  I, however, am photo-shy.  Anonymity is my buddy, but if you want a hint, think Liv Tyler-ish.

Liv tyler is defintely a beautiful woman.

It is nice to know we are apreciated :P most woman these days seem to prefer there men looking like boys :P

I have always felt that girls like boys and real women like real men. The vice versa also being true.

The distinctions of girls-women and boys-men not being questions of age of course.

It's a question of personal taste.  I think, though, that the more "rough around the edges" type look is becoming more desirable instead of the metrosexual.  I'd be irritated if my man was prettier than me.Posted Image

Personal taste being a reflection of personality in many cases.

Though I think you might be right that the general opinion is suddenly trending away from shaved chest, smooth cheeked, pretty boys. Steadily... but it does indeed seem the case.

Like Russel Peters says you can't trust a guy who shaves anything but his beard, down there or back :P

^ lol He must be very flexible to be able to shave his back.

I must depart, however, and sleep. It's almost 3am here. Thanks for feeding my insomnia, gentlemen. Until next time!

A few of us already have. Not sure if I have any other good fake beard photos aside from the masking tape beard.... Oh no, wait... does this count?

Posted Image

It was a fake mugshot for a school poster last year. We Fine Arts majors got to do lots of silly things and get legitimate grades for it. xD

I should note my hair is just past shoulder length, but it's always tied up in a ponytail and thus not visible at this angle. :P

Oh, and HighlandBerserkr, one of my guy friends would probably love you if he ever met you in person, considering your taste in music (especially Amon Amarth), cartoons, and the epic Viking-esque beard.

Heh, thanks. It was part of an art show poster; all the Fine Arts seniors have to put on an art gallery as part of graduation, including making the posters advertising it. We had ten people graduating that semester, so we called the show "Ten Most Wanted Artists" and did a faux mug shot theme for the show's ads. The others' photos were pretty hilarious too, though I was the only one with scribbled on facial hair and monocle. It suited my alias of "Sketch" and goofy nature. :D

No, it's Stewie from Family Guy. I would love to get a t-shirt like this with Brain on it one day, though.

Can't help but think that both would, at first, see the potential inherit in using one another to achieve their goals. Only to find later that their intended tool was too powerful and dangerous for them to control, thus they would both be forced to eliminate the other resulting in a mexican stand-off likely resulting in both of their ambiguous escapes, either one thinking the other must have died, but unable to shake the feeling that they will see them again one day... both left to awaken from time to time from a nightmare of the other standing over them, blade in hand.

Just wanted to add:

HighlandBerserkr wrote...

Too true. While there are some men I think look better clean shaven, I also think a vast majority of guys look better with at least some facial hair if they can grow it. And not the 5 o'clock shadow stuff. That's a cop-out. Go for the real face-fur, gents. :P

Indeed. The early 90s cartoon fan in me wants to favor Brain, but Stewie has a slightly better success rate in terms of inventions, if not actual world domination. Hard to say who might win.

Ahem. Maybe the power of Beards has an effect on awareness. Alertness. +4 alertness!

The fact that it's a Brad Pitt Beard is just the icing on the cake!
Is this our first trim/paste beard? :o

That look = intense.

Also! Who wants a preview?

Also, also, also!
I'm going to update! *SAY WHAT?*
Beard song - never finished it, but ... well, you'll see why!

Ah ... but I do have some dignity! ... *looks at the PSA* - I think.

Oh! And the song both Matt and myself made about Ruck! The crazy dwarf in the deep roads! Ruck is the man! *Unfortunately, the song is very ... not shareable*

I'm hoping for a wide selection of beards as opposed to the limitations we had in Origins. All shapes and sizes. I was rather sad to see how limited my options were.

Also! For characters... I'm guessing (right to left) Female Warden, Alistair, Oghren, Zevran =D

And can't wait to see more of that comic
