Let my hair run amuck for more than a day or two, and I'd soon turn into Cousin It. I hate you all.

Your last name wouldn't happen to be Adams, right?

Why is Asian always South east Asian? I was in India for 3 years. They had great beards for Christ's sake! In fact their religious monks (Yes there are Non-religious monks there) called sadhus Grow very bushy beards... I doubt if they ever shave.... Same for Pakistan and Afghanistan in terms of facial hair.

Depends where you're from. In the US "Asian" refers generally to East Asian, but I think in parts of the UK it refers to Southeast Asian.

But yeah Indian and Pakistani people can grow magnificent beards.

Hmm.. I assume that indians and neighbours are considered "Caucasians" de facto as opposed to "Mongoloid" South/East asians..... Scientific racism at its worst.

My Uncle, who is also a mix (less diluted than me, though), married a woman from Pakistan. Meaning my eldest cousin is this giant hairy monster with hair everywhere but on his chest.

Indeed and I could probably grow a couple of Hawke beards in that time, unfortunately the sheer irritation caused by such a beard would lead me destroy the Earth.Image IPB

But... the school won't allow eet. It's bad enough I hid my septum piercing and tattoo from the authorities (oh and I'm a school prefect). I hate that Form 6 is a school-based Pre-Uni programme...

I lack the proper masculinity to fully beard up, I think. I've got the goatee going alright but not too much comes in at the sides :<

Sanity must be tempered with insanity lest we become too sane.

There is no such an animal. Sanity does not negate fantasy. It negates living one.

I use to have a bit of a beard going some years back. This isn't the longest I've had my facial hair, but it's the only photo I can find of me with long facial hair.

Since then I've shaved, my face of course, I would never shave the hair on my head. In fact my hair is grown much longer since then. And I've recently shaved so I look more like this

It'll take some time for me to grow it again.

Indeed, however everyone needs a little eccenticity, lest they become a dull person.Image IPB

EDIT: To have a beard in itself is considered an eccentricity by some, some employers insist on employees being clean shaven, or use the 'may not be seen favourably' approach.

I would so join this if A) I hadn't shaved a few minutes ago and B) I had the ability to start growing a proper beard to begin with... This has to be the worst possible time to be 19!

On second thoughts, I don't think I can grow a very good beard, anyway.

Just strain really hard and it will grow, just make sure you don't need the toilet though.

Haha, if you say. I can grow a beard; my facial does grow quickly enough. I don't know, I just think beards don't really work well with me, and some parts of my face it doesn't grow as much as others. Some people can grow some really good beards, but I don't think I can.

As I'm not 'quite' old enough in woman years to grow my own, I will have to support you grunty men instead.

Go, go grunty beard growers. Show us that testosterone!
