So the Morrigan DLC is gonna be the last DLC, well bugger. Little disappointed about that, but we don't know any details about what happens, so I might be very pleasanly surprised.

Anywho, I vaguely remember mention of there definately being another expansion before DA2. I can't find or remember where I read that, but I'm really sure I did see it somewhere.
So bioware, is there going to be another expansion?

An expansion regarding 'The Calling' would be awesome, or any expansion at all.

Just wondering, so we can stop speculating and getting our hopes up at the thought of another expansion.

Thanks for the confirmation.  I must admit that it is a bit disappointing.  Dragon Age Origins always felt like a "2 expansion" game to me.  In any case, while I have enjoyed the DLC, I much prefer a multi-expansion model to a single expansion + DLC model.  While I have no way of knowing how representative I am of your fanbase, I hope that you guys will consider this for DA2, or if too late for that, in the future.

Well, it was fun while it lasted, but I doubt DA will stand the Test of Time. Maybe in time there will be a modding community who are able to produce high-quality stuff.

So when you (you being the collective powers-that-be on the DA team) said you had two years' worth of DLC/additional material, did that just mean you were planning on releasing these additions to the title, and you performed on a quicker schedule? I know a bunch of us were disappointed that it wasn't actually new content for an entire two years, but what you folks have released was on a very quick schedule.



Someone said that for DA2 there will be "2 years' worth of DLC" there as well. Would it be a reasonable assumption, then, to assume a similar amount of additional content released?

Personally, if you buy this game withou the DLC, I think you would miss out on a lot. Especially with Witch Hunt coming.

Yes and no. You get The Stone Prisoner free with the purchase of a new copy of the game. And the base game itself is massive. I took over 85 hours to complete my first run.

On the other hand, some of the other DLC expands the story and gives you some background you would otherwise not get. It's fun and I found most of it worth the expense, but it's not necessary to enjoy the game.

i don't mind that it's the end of DLC (in fact i welcome it, but thats just me, all prejudiced against digital only stuff), but im sad that it also means that we aren't getting any other proper expansion. I'd imagine the whole Morrigan thing would be enough material for an entire expansion, but oh well, DLC it is.
