Tyndrel and Henesua, thanks for the patience. And Izk: wow! you are really skilfull. You could probably make games by your own with no problems :D Your skyboxes are amazing. (Like the other stuff)

@Nicotine Caffeine, thanks, but I'm not as skillful as I seem, not compared to some of the other folks around here. My 3D modelling skills are comparable to someone trying to fix a radio with a hammer IMO, hehe.

Just musing out loud here, but after a year away from my projects, I'm feeling a little overwhelmed by it all. I'm not getting discouraged, but I keep having these "holy crap, I can't believe I made sooo much stuff" moments, which of course, still need to be organized into a proper hak with all new 2das.

Fortunately, there's also the "holy crap, I forgot I did that!" moments, spurring me on. I wanted to share a couple of those "re-discoveries" with you guys.

Chandigar's Gothic train and tracks, converted into placeables for an ancient subway using Maxam's classic Dungeon:

The monodrone face is actually a creature the player can interact with, though getting it to stay put in the train was a little tricky. I had planned on giving it all a more aged appearance.

"Out-of-phase" ghosts,, with animated texture. Not sure what I was smoking:

Lighthouses, made from the one in CEP (shown on left):

Raven Redux (made from a seagull):

I'm especially pleased with the raven. I got to push my limited skills a bit, and I always wanted a better raven for one of my characters' familiar.

The last thing is something I've actually released, though it's part of a "niche" pack that's not getting many downloads. I don't mind that, but I consider this one of my favorites, so I'll have to include it in another pack just so it gets more use somewhere. It's a little graphic:

Lol, wish I know how to fix radios with hammers like you :D
Cool the Out-of-Phase ghosts, remember an incarnation of the interference that you can see with no channel on the tv. (but your mutant-chronicles soldiers are always the top. In fact with your stuff you could make an ambientation in nwn of mutant chronicles. The Locomotive would fit really as well)

Ah, i almost forgot, after have seen that trick of the tail, i was wondering: neverwinter nights 2 in the appearence 2Da has the option to scale the models (nwn2_scale_x/y/z) and neverwinter nights can do the same after all... Could be possible to make the nwn engine to scale directly the models like nwn2?

You should see what I can do with a chainsaw!

Those ghosts are meant to look like TV "snow". Also, I had never really heard of The Mutant Chronicles before I made the InHumans, which were for a module I had been working on, as was the train. Then I caught the show on the Sci-Fi channel, and was shocked. They stole my idea, hehe! A lot of the ideas are similar, complete with the ancient underground lab. I suppose the Fallout games kinda did it first, but they didn't have that ancient cryptic feel to the whole scenario.

Oh damn, I am liking that train and the ghost

Now if only I knew how to script, that ghost would look awesome semi-transparent

Thanks for the compliments, though as I mentioned the train is Chandigar's. I just stuck it in a dungeon with the custom monodrone. It would be possible to make the ghost transparent right in the model, but I tried that with something else I made that had an animated texture, and it was a little laggy. I think I prefer it this way. It's also self illuminating, meaning the texture is bright, even in dark areas, though it doesn't put out any ambient light.

However, with the trick of the tail that told me tyndrel, if u put the animation of "invisible creature n.XX" the creature added as tail will be semi-trasparent...

I found something else from my last time around, which I'm submitting for critique here. Someone had been kind enough to share some actual Fallout 3 models with me, which enabled me to make these:

DEATHCLAWS! (genuine parts with an Abishai body and animations)

First version:

That version seemed "unoriginal" somehow, so I've recently tried to make it a little more unique:

Just an FYI, I'm planning on starting a project page here soon, so I can upload some of this stuff for you guys to play with, instead of waiting for me to release a proper hak on the Vault. I forgot how tedious all that 2da stuff can be.

And just for fun, a shiny gold Eyebot, using a modified version of the Eyebot helmet texture:

Are these going to be downloadable? They're really nice.

@Jenna, thanks! Yeah, I plan to make them downloadable very soon. If I understand things right, I can upload them to a project page here, correct? I've never bothered to learn all the features here, and I'm just coming back to this stuff after a long absence. If I can share this stuff without going through the whole hak/Vault process right away, I will, gladly. I've been too busy and/or too lazy to make a proper hak up 'til now.

Well, setting up a project page was painless!:

Fallout Creatures

Includes two deathclaws, plus original and gold custom eyebots. Enjoy!

Edit: Just an FYI, when adding them to your appearance.2da, copy the Balor stats (or the Abishai if you have them or CEP with them) for the Deathclaws, and the Demilich stats for the Eyebots. Be sure to set EnvMap to default for the Gold Eyebot!

Some great looking stuff!

The heavier horses are a nice touch, as are the ravens!

Cool stuff!

Just a note on the project pages here. You can only upload 10 files per project, though you can have any number of projects.

You might want to create a "Fallout CC" *group* and make each category of content its own project.
I.e. anything that you would naturally group together in a single hak would be in a single project, but related-but-different categories might be in related-but-different projects under the same group.

Ex:
Put your demons in one project, your horses in another and your steampunk stuff in a third. Put them all under the Fallout CC group (or "Izk's Mad Creations" group ;-)

Edit: Oh, and if you like someone's project, click that little plus sign and show your appreciation :-) I was first on Izk's =)

<...that's worth what you pay for it>

@usagreco66kg, thanks!

@Rolo, thank you, too! I was thinking about starting a group. I know there are others here who share my enthusiasm for nontraditional NWN content. I owe you a like, too. That urchin is very cool! Edit: And I almost forgot that awesome Gaia crone!

Just an update on my project. I had uploaded the files, but didn't realize I had to enable sharing with everyone. I've fixed that, so if anyone is interested in checking them out, they should be available now.
