I have two similar situations:
- I want an area to become active on the world map when a certain companion is in the active party AND when a certain plot condition has been met.
- I want an area to become active on the world map when a certain companion is NOT in the active party AND when a certain plot condition has been met.

Is it possible to do both of those things within the module script? I think I can get the first situation to work within the party member added event (haven't tested it yet though), but how would I do the second situation? [I was thinking the party member dropped event, but then I realized that I don't really know exactly how party member dropped works. Are all party members not added to the active party considered dropped? Or just the ones who were in the active party and have now been dropped from the active party?]

I saw that there were several constants dealing with the world map; would any of them do what I want within the module script?

I've been using PRCSCR, but it causes a delay in activating/deactivating the map pins, thus causing a way to get around the restrictions I put in place.

NEW QUESTION :
I've been working on getting my follower to function properly in the Fade. I've created an area, a trigger script, a stage, plot, etc. for him. I've also got edited versions of cir000ar_fade_core, cir300pt_fade, cir300pt_x, and cir300pt_fade_portal. I also made a custom function based on CIR_JumpToFadeFollower that I used in cir300pt_fade_portal. I must be missing something because I cannot travel to the companion's fade area from the fade map. The area opens, the "find fade follower" plot flag is set, but when I click on the map pin, nothing happens. Any ideas?

In your module script, you can use EVENT_TYPE_PARTYMEMBER_DROPPED to turn off the "follower in party" plot flag. GetEventObject(ev, 0) identifies the follower who was dropped.

Yes, I've got the plot flag in there already; I was just unsure if it would work because I don't know what "dropped" actually means. I'm assuming that dropped means that all companions not in the active party regardless of whether or not they were in it previously are considered dropped... If so, my plan should work; if not, it probably won't.

It should work. If a companion has never joined, their plot flag will have the default value, which is clear i.e. FALSE.
