Uhm...just what are you guys into? You know Qunari are like 8 foot giants.

some people are into people with giantism and some people are intodwarfism...so it seems.
Recently on the news the tallest man is 8 feet tall and underwent surgery to stop him from growing anymore.

This is where playing as the Warden in Dragon Age 2 would be awesome. Imagine being surrounded by ten Qunari, when suddenly one of them breaks away and begins to slice down it's brethren, removing a helmet and turning out to be Sten.

*Sigh*

Unfortunately, Sten owes Hawke nothing.

Unless Hawke's father was one of the folks slain by Sten?, having regretted his actions and wishing to atone, years later upon meeting Hawke he could reveal this information to him and place his life in Hawke's hands.

Interesting theory, but Sten killed the entire family. Now if Hawke saw Sten in Lothering caged and brought him a cookie...

That...is a really interesting idea, actually. I can't believe that possibility never occurred to me.

Well Hawke's father could have just been visiting that family or helping them out with harvest or some such as happens in farming communities, cookie idea also has merit.

I approve of this thread.

Sten left my Warden brokenhearted ;_;

I hope he will make an appearance in DA2 of course, but it will just make me more frustrated about playing Hawke.and not any of my lovely DA:O characters.

Oh well. Love hurts.

It's entirely possible depending on the purpose of the Qunari in the trailer. Did the Qunari represent an invasion force? If so, we might expect to meet Sten on the frontlines.

extended trailer shows the qunari downing hundreds of guards alone....may just be an assassin....

Extended trailer? Where do you find that?

you can pretty well much forget about ever seeing The Sten again .

Only possible way is a DLC telling about his Journey home.

reasons is Sten is a Rank not a name.

Once he makes it home he will have to go thru Debriefing after which he be judge for losing his Honor.

That will determine the lentgh of his Reeducation .

and once he finished that he be given a new Rank and he no longer be Known as The Sten.

Thu i Love to see him be instrumental in getting the Quanari to Sign the Treaties concerning the Blight...

Doesnt it take Sten a couple of years to reach his homeland? Im thinking by the time Sten gets back home, Dragon Age 2 is already over.

While waiting for confirmation on Sten's appearance in DA2, watch him sing! (his VO actually, but whatever, just imagine an 8ft giant with cornrows).

Since the game starts in Lothering, I guess it's possible. Unless the game immediately starts with the town being destroyed.

Too high. Someone edit it so he sounds like Sten.

It would probably be difficult for him to sing in Sten's voice. His normal speaking voice isn't nearly as deep and growly.

Sten wouldn't be the first person to have a singing voice surprisingly higher than his speaking voice. Axl Rose comes to mind.

Ok you know what, actually it would be hilarious if Sten opened his mouth and sang all romantic and pop-y like that. And then just went back to whatever he was doing before with no acknowledgement at all of what just happened.

From the game, he looked like a very tall, very large human to me.

From the SA trailer, he just looked like a very tall, well-built African.

Like I could tell he was a different race, just not the way qunari are depicted in the Destiny trailer.

Maybe the Destiny qunari is a freak:P

heh, I could see Leliana prodding him into doing something like that, in downtime in Denerim when the Warden is away or something, with assurances that they will never speak of this again. Only for the Warden to walk into some pub halfway into a beautiful duet between the two.

If Sten happens to be one of hte qunari attaking, I will have no qualms about killing him.

"He only met one worthy individual"....my ass. The rest of my party members apparently don't exist for him.

Gaider pretty much said no.
He said sten would face a lengthy interrogation because of contamination with the outside.
He did not clarify if this was a joke nor how lengthy, lengthy is.

Yeah, you never know if them Bioware guys are joking or not sometimes. Mary Kirby is the most guilty here :P
