I was wondering something about the Morrigan romance.
I Followed the Morrigan Romance all the way through and accepted her ritual. in the epilogue save, Morrigan doesn't acknowledge I romanced her.
So my guess is that something I did or said after the ritual and before the battle ended the Morrigan romance.( probably when I talked to her during the battle.)
If I finish Awakening with this Warden the epilogue says I disapeared instead of went looking for the dark-haired mage that accompanied me during the blight (which is the Morrigan romance epilogue for Awakening)
This confirms that the Morrigan romance was indeed ended in my origins epilogue save.
My question is: will the Witch Hunt DLC acknowlege that I romanced Morrigan if I import either the Origins or Awakening savegame of this character, or will the fact that the romance was basicely ended after the battle of Denerim mean that there will be no references to my Morrigan romance.
I play on ps3 if it matters

What if Morrigan returned to Ferelden...for some reason.What i think is Flemeth must be behind this.(Remember she is not really dead).Bah....Tooo many questions!! I m desperate to know her secret!! ><

What you are experiencing is actually a bug. When you talk to Morrigan in Origins right before the final battle her approval drops from love to frendly. In order to fix that you must keep the Mirror gift until after the credits when you return to your camp and then give it to her.

The romance should now be restarted, save game, import into Awakenings, all done. Or you could go to Dragon age nexus and dowload a mod which fixes the thing. Either way I think you'll have to replay Awakening with a fixed save from Origins to get the epilogue.

If you dont have the mirror gift, then use the console to add it to your inventory (google how to activate console and gift code).

 Flemeth is in Dragon Age 2 so I highly doubt it, she is helping the Hero of Kirkwall if I remember right

Thats what i m doubting that Flemeth is proly behind this....I m sure of it!! But i hope not...cause i dont want Morrigan dead...

I had a whole different issue with Witch Hunt, Morrigan Acknowledged that my Character had romanced her but when I spoke to her she responded as if he both refused and accepted the Dark Ritual!



Doesn't make any sense. I'm sure its a bug of some sorts

This. I romanced her, and we had the God Baby.

She talks about the baby we had, the Archdemon, but she says I refused her at Redcliffe.

Odd.

I just played through her romance before this DLC came out, and beat the game. I wound up having to go back to one of my saves prior to defeating the dragon (I save multiple times in Fort Drakon) and load up that character. You can pull those saves from the "Advanced Import" option, if you haven't deleted them.

I've encountered a similar problem. I just beat Witch Hunt about a few hours ago. Morrigan said I romanced her and she even said we had a son togehter. But she talked as if I turned down her ritual at redcliff. I don't know what happened.

Just finished the DLC and went straight to the forums. Looks like everyone is having this issue, My case:



Female Even Mage

Romanced Alistair.

Got Alistair to do the DR.

Friends with Morrigan.



Still, she talks like I denied her request at the end (She actually was in my party for the archdemon fight but the dialog says she abandoned me).



Any official position besides "We are looking into it?"

I too am a little confused with this DLC. I romanced Morrigan the whole game and did the ritual. Yet when I talk to her she's ticked because I denied her at Redcliffe, which I didn't. But we also have a son. Huh. Go figure. Sounds like she messed up her own ritual. LOL It does acknowledge the romance though and I used my Awakening file.



I was wondering if this is like Awakening, where you have to "make up" some reason in your own head of why you survived Origins when you import your character because that's the story route they take. If that's the case then Morrigan would have to claim you denied her otherwise you would've lived. That whole thing sort of threw me for a loop in Awakening.

Got a question as to why I cannot seem to get an option to follow Morrigan through the mirror.



I romanced Morrigan in DAO, but I chose Leliana when it came to choosing between the two. However, I still managed to have love status with Morrigan instead of friendship and she gave me her ring, which I still have when playing Witch Hunt. I also, did the dark ritual with her in DAO.



In Witch Hunt though, I have an option to ask if I come with her through the mirror but she turns me away and she went alone. Also, have the option to attack her. I don't think I had the bug ending because she acknowledged that we did the dark ritual and it's my child.



What did I do wrong? Is it because I choose Leilana even if I kept the ring, have love status with Morrigan and did the dark ritual? I heard that some people did the same thing I did in DAO but managed to get the ending where their Warden went through the mirror with Morrigan. Can anyone confirm that?

I've played through witch with two different characters and in the one that I imported from the epilogue auto-save I asked her all the questions and not once did she say that I denied her the ritual and when I asked why she betrayed me there was no option to say that she abandoned me before the battle like there was on my first playthru

I had the same thing happen, I romanced her and engaged in the ritual (it even shows in my achievements list) but she says I refused her. She did acknowledge the child we had. Any ideas?

I also had the same problem, Morrigan aknoledges the romance and tells me about my son and then keeps saying that I denied her the ritual.....err wasn't my son concieved during the ritual?!



It feels like a bug to me, but maybe something happened during/after the "ritual" that will be revealed later....



Either way it was disappointing ending to this, it gave no real info and was basically just a teaser trailer for DA2!

even if you don't get the morrigan ending thing in awakening you can still have a romance back ground with her in the witch hunt dlc i just beat it today

Ok, use the Epilogue or Coronation save game (If you saved in the throne room). What I did was that, imported to Awakening, then Golems, then Witch Hunt. I went through with the ritual also. If you go through this same scenario, I'm sure it will work, meaning, Morrigan will acknowledge you did the ritual, you will have a child, and you will still be her "love" and can go through the portal with her to meet your son and spend eternity with her, and whatever

I was wondering if someone could help answer this for me? I have completed Origins with several varying run throughs however I have decided not to download any of the DLC. I have watched various videos on youtube and now have a pretty good grasp of the story of witch hunt. However I am curious as to a potential ending of Witch Hunt which it would seem no one else has arrived at. In Origins I romanced Morrigan (completing all of her side quests) whilst refusing the Dark promise and my male warden survived as a result of Alastair killing the ArchDemon. If anybody has taken a similar route, how does Morrigan respond to you and what ending options do you have with her???

I had the romance and i went with morrigan at the end of witch hunt. Should have i? lol i might redo with different saves awakening and witch hunt again so i have 2 files of the same character to import, now that i know i can save the keep and the city in awakening..... Also if flemeth picks a fight Morrigan again i'll be there to stop her atleast with the important from Maakasu the one that had the romance.. Though Flemeth is cool i like the voice work it will be cool to see if she returns after the first year of DA II i hope she does shes a very mysterious women,
