Gamespy is displaying ONLY about four servers under RP today. THe whole list is wonky. What is going on here?

I don't use / know the url for gamespy forums, and I'm not a member there. I posted only here as it is NWN that is effected.

They're the only ones who would know. We just have to live with it until it's resolved or someone reports it so it can get resolved.

Yes, I'm having problems with seeing even 1/4 of the servers online as well, maybe we can report it to Gamespy?

This happens from time to time to me, you're not at a hotel or new connection, are you? There are weird blocks on gamespy on certain networks.

Sometimes my Buddy List is blank. Sometimes the Chat screen stays blank for extended periods of time. Haven't experienced your particular gliche but would not discount it from happening to me.

I've always passed off such idiosyncrasies as a product of my relatively-low connection speed.

The descriptor "wonky" seems appropriate.

I am getting a very truncated list of servers available in every category as well.  Someone's been playing with the toaster in the bathtub again.

My server (Twisted Woods CEP 2.3) hasn't been listing on Gamespy for about a week. I have a ticket in with their tech support crew. I haven't heard back from them yet. If I learn anything I'll post here. My server is still running and you can direct connect at: 67.189.1.104   Port 5121   My thanks to NWN DM for pointing out I had the wrong IP here before.

We get dropped constantly from there which is why we have a pictorial on our forum on how to Direct Connect, lol.

You guys or gals are more than welcome to steal it for your own servers.

I still haven't seen Higher Ground on the list, since the Game Spy issues started...



Maybe those servers got updated to a new CEP or something?



Has someone ran the CEP updater since this problem started?

Yup, it didn't help. Still short lists & definitely no Higher Ground that I see.

The CEP has nothing to do with whether you're listed on Gamespy or not.

Gamespy is an internet connectivity service.  The CEP is a bunch of hakpacks people made for you to put in your game directory so you can use some extra weapons and clothing options.  They don't influence one another even remotely.

I thought it could be Acaos' net override: www.nwnx.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php.  Maybe the DNS for the Bioware and Gamespy servers changed...  I took it out and my server started showing up again, but this could have been just coincidental since there are probably non-linux servers missing too.

It would appear that Higher Ground appeared properly under Action sometime this morning. Can anyone else verify? Also, have the rest of the servers returned? The lists do appear longer to me again.

Yes Higher Ground is showing back up for me, and other servers now too, but still doesn't look like all of them are there yet...

That's just plain strange. Hopefully the rest of them show up soon. Hard to do a tour of servers when someone's gone & taken down the signs.

Twisted Woods CEPv2.3 is listing on Gamespy again. It reappeared yesterday.
