I wouldn't recommend it, then. As far as I can remember, you can only download a product within 6 months of purchasing it, and only once (I could be wrong on that, but I'm pretty sure it's true).

Surely you can find a retail edition for cheaper?

Yes. You'd be able to reinstall without having to download it ;)
In terms of content, there's absolutely no difference at all. I would really recommend you think twice about getting it from the EA Store, especially if you tend to uninstall games once you're done (and then reinstall them later).

Wish I had read this a couple days ago. Yesterday I bought the digital version from the EA store, now I cannot find where to download it and when I go to my order history it says there is nothing there. I received the email with the order # but the EA site is not user friendly and seems incapable of doing a search for order number. When I do the Advanced Search, the drop-down list for games doesn't even show Awakenings. Next time I'll be doing the physical copy for sure.

It should be in your EA download manager.

Korhiann, thanks for the reply. I've never used the EA download manager before. I did download the application, but when I tried to run it it said it was missing files and gave me an error. Right around then there were some Adobe Air updates that popped up, so I updated. EA download manager still wouldn't work, so I removed it and downloaded the application again. It still gave me the same error the second time.

Since then I ran out to the local GameStop, which actually had some PC games, and bought the physical copy. I'm going to try for a refund from EA, or Bioware points, but it would be nice to know how to find digital games on the EA site after purchase. Just in case.

Have you more specific error message about the missing files?
