Greetings, ME community. I seek your guidance.

I've had access to the full array of clothing models for Shepard awhile now, but something continues to bum my experience:
Wearing snazzy headgear and casual clothing during missions is all well and good. But by my logic, the best place to wear the military beret (or that nifty little cap, for another instance) would be on board Normandy. Just seems to make the most fashion sense.

Of course, the lack of but a single equip slider on the "Casual" clothing screen makes this difficult to just plug in. Can the dress-up screen be easily modified with just a block of data added to Coalesced.ini that would let me scroll between the available hats etc., or would it require a custom Shep head that has my headgear of choice permanently fused? Hope it isn't the latter, cross fingers . . .
Or perhaps a way of telling the game to let me choose which clothing type I want to appear on my model at any time, so I could always wear "Armor". Since every outfit can be accessed from its equip screen, that would solve everything, and to hell with the Casual clothing screen.
Maybe it could be eliminated completely to make the player's appearance default to Armor, if that wouldn't cause crashes/my model not to appear while on deck and what-have-you.

tl;dr: Headgear for Shepard while on Normandy: can it be done, or shall my noggin continue to feel the cold chill of recirculated spaceship air?
