just one question  if i wanted to play a serten mission over again how can i find it there is only 2 saved mission once complited does any one know where they are saved to ? Documents\\Bioware\\MassEffect\\Save .

You can only replay a mission by loading a save you made yourself prior to the mission or restarting the whole game and working your way to that mission.

Windows' own full DxDiag Report is massive overkill for the few readers still hanging around. 

According to Bogs, the 285.62 driver is unlikely to continue working well with either ME game.  He suggests the 258.xx series instead.

Blank post, and then a bunch of hardware specs.
Going by what Gorath said, I'm gussing your problem is some for of video error.
Nvidia have a lousy track record of supporting games older than a year, and the newer the drivers yuo have, the more problems you will have with a 4 year old game like ME1. I would suggest using the oldest drivers you can find for your vid card.

If that doesnt work, please provide either a screenshot, or an accurate description of your problem.

i am running 8 gigs ram amd cpu 3.60 mzh 650 watts psu .

and windows 7, 64 bit

o and this system is not sli

Well new video card XFX ATI Radeon HD 6750 new drivers 8.95 hard drive 500gig sata 8 gigs ram . still no luck with the mme1 problem . now just will have to do with out me1 .( i also updated bios ).

There is something unusual in the Chipset that AMD supplies with the Bulldozer CPUs (FXes) that causes this odd symptom.

TTBOMK. there is no SLI for any GPUs with AMD CPUs and Chipsets, only Crossfire.  There are some Intel Chipsets that offer either CF or SLI, however.

Maybe a fresh start like this will get ME1 up and running for ya

Certainly not from Bioware / EA. The game is three years old now, two years past any likelihood of further patches.

The above situation (blacked out NPCs) has zero likelihood of changing in any way but just the one.  Owners of Bulldozer CPUs (FXes) will have to hope AMD can figure it out, themselves.

next thing i did was put my old pc back together. 600 watt psu , intell quad core 2.40 . 4 gigs ram ( 32 bit )
installed me 1  (  no updates) ran all the way through  no prpblems . .

so it must be a windows 7 64bit thing
