I'm not sure it was the height of the series, but it was definitely one of the better loyalty missions. My only complaint is that the ULB/LLR responses were simply too easy an out, especially when the paragon response is little more than, "Tali is awesome, don't convict her." I think it would have been better if the game had forced you to make the sadistic choice - withold the evidence, get Tali exiled, or hand over the evidence and destroy her father's reputation.
The worst loyalty mission, in my opinion, was Miranda's, although I'm obviously biased in this regard since I hated her character. Throughout the mission I was reminded of an Icelandic saying, "a story told by one is only half a story." I began wondering if Miranda's father were really as horrible as she claims, especially when we never meet him in person and only have Miranda's word to go on. It honestly felt more like she was taking Oriana away more to get back at her father than any concern for her sister.
Jacob's was intriguing, in that it had a rather Heart of Darkness feel to it. But it was sabotaged by the Jacob's lack of response to what his father has become. He sounds more annoyed than outraged.
Samara's reminded of some sort of sci-fi CSI, complete with Shepard discovering one of Morinth's victims, saying "it looks like he just came and went at the same time" before putting on the shades.
