if it's long enough I'll buy it shortly after it comes out, if not, I'll buy it as well, but I'll wait for a game of the year edition that comes with the DLC. I don't like buying games in small parts.

I shall be buying it, but not CE... one, I don't have that kind of cash. And two... well... I like things to be 'sets' and I didn't get the CE of Origins, so now I can't. It's my slight OCD.

Given the fact that we still haven't been given a good portion of the information we need to make an informed opinion about the game, I'm withholding judgement.
Still, I'm a fairly easy person to please. So long as the story interests me and the gameplay isn't broken, I'll probably enjoy it. My only worry is that I won't have enough money to get a good enough gaming rig for the game before it comes out. I missed out on playing DA:O on the PC the first time around, and while I still enjoy the Xbox version I can't help but kick myself when I think back on it.

I will buy DA2 almost for sure, but not pre-order, or right after relase date. There's some things about DA@ Im not sure I will like ( i.e playing twice this same scene, first in Varric's version, second "true" one), so I will wait for reviews and players opinions. Also I have to be sure, that I will be able to play DA2 with original voice actors + eventually polish subtitles. And after EA Poland lied about polish version of ME2 ( they promised us an option with polish subtitles& original VO, and after relase date they said it's full polish version. So PC users had to combine with VO files, and console players had to buy UK version-like me, if they wanted really high quality game) I have to see myself, that it will be possible to play without terrible polish voice actors.

Actually I can´t see any huge improvements about the graphic engine. For me it is important that the setting and the atmosphere is right. Let’s hope the screen shots we saw are really pre alpha version. But I doubt that. Only eight months left …and I´m sure they got plenty to do.

I'll wait before buying. So far, all the informations point to a direction I quite don't like - consolization and simplification. They CAN do it well (I actually loved ME2), but they can also just dumb down the game and finish the concept of ripping half the content of a game to sell it through DLC later.



So I'll wait, I'll try, and then I'll decide if I buy.

The Game sounds great i am definitely buying it day one, all you naysayers will bow down to Bioware and beg for forgiveness when it finally hits and you play it, its the same Dragon age you love it just looks better and plays better and is perhaps a tad more violent, you can still pick class, the only thing your missing as far as customization is being able to pick a different race that's it, get over it

Hehehe. I bought Alpha Protocol AFTER I had read some of the negative reviews. I'm glad I did, as it was one of the better games that I've recently purchased. Sure it needed polish, but it was still fun.

As for DA2: Yeah, I'll buy it; a Collector's Edition being the target. I'm still disappointed that I won't be playing as my Warden...but I'm hoping that the Warden will be back by DA3...or DA4...or DA VIII: Pagan 
I guess I'll keep getting DA games as long as that hope is alive.
(so he better not die in the next DLC  ...but even if he does, maybe I'll still buy DA games)

Hehehe. I bought Alpha Protocol AFTER I had read some of the negative reviews.

It's those reviews that make me want to buy AP.  All the things they claim are bad are things I really don't care about, and all the things they complain about are things I think I'll enjoy.

Yes I enjoy Bioware's games very much and love Dragon Age so I'll be there. If it turns out to be a disappointment then at least I want to find out for myself
