Hey everyone, I was wondering if I bought the 'Ring of Might' item containing the 'improved critical (unarmed strike)' feat, does my character need to learn the 'critical (unarmed strike)' feat first for this item to work?

A possible quick way to test this is to save your game, buy the ring, and see if you have the feat when you equip it.



I think you do not need feat first, but I am not completely sure.

There is no "Critical Strike" feat. Unarmed you have a 5% base chance to score a critical threat (still needs another confirmation roll though). With Improved Critical Strike Unarmed this chance improves to 10%.

You still need to reroll to check if you beat the enemy AC though.
