This might be something I should post at the Dragon Age 2 debut trailer thread, but here we go anyway.
Gametrailers are pretty much dissecting all the details, from the trailer, feel free to discuss it.

I am also a little curious on why they would jump to the conclusion that it is Grey Wardens fighting mages.SteveGarbage wrote...
This is horrible. It has information that can't be verified or is just flat out wrong (Grey Wardens fighting robed mage army? WRONG)
Here's a better breakdown at greywardens.com.

Hm interesting. I didn't know we knew who the king was and what that symbol meant, exactly. Also didn't know we knew exactly what the Qunari markings meant.
And isn't the army fighting Flemeth and her mages templars and not Grey Wardens?

Not necessarily either. The don't have the templar or Warden symbol, instead they have some sort of tree, which suggests armor of elven make. This is confusing since the helmets have what is typically a distinctive human flair in fantasy games.
I was wondering that too, maybe they know something that we don't?TheChris92 wrote...

Lol well that blasted SteveGarbage's theorys out of the water, I take it then that all of the information in that vid is correct, which makes me wonder why the Grey Wardens are fighting mages and not DarkspawnChris Priestly wrote...

Maybe the mages refused to give them the cookies they were promised.
What better explanation do you need?
