That doesn't exactly jive with Flemeth still looking like a slightly sexed up old lady- the whole "horns as hair" thing just is a byproduct of everything in DA2 getting spikes and horns and claws. It just falls more in line with Flemeth's overall new look tapping into her dragon form- the horns and metal tiara linking up to her dragon form, her outfit being the same color and scale like in texture, like a dragon...

I've NEVER seen that photo before.  Where is it from?

Ok, so on the director's cut trailer what is that HUGE knight Hawke is hiding from at roughly 2:08 in the flashbacks. It's like 3 times the size of him, but I haven't heard it been mentioned yet. Does anybody know what it is?

It's from the latest DLC that Bioware released.  Can't really say more without giving away spoilers.

No the scene after that, I know the thing you're talking about.

The thing with the bright core? I don't think it's been confirmed yet but there was speculation that it's a new type of golem.

I'm not quite sure what you mean by 'bright core', I can describe it better though. Hawke is standing next to a bricked wall with what looks like an arch next to him with a huge knight thing with two huge swords. I wouldn't say he looks very golem-like though.

Speculation or not, my biggest disappointment with DA2 will be if my Hawke cannot use similar combo abilities like the ones showed in the trailer! Very witcher-like style but it would be amazing.

Is it just me, or does flemmeth's eyes look exactly like morrigan's?

I wouldn't say exactly but they have lots in common, like mother and daughter.

That might be the biggest disappointment for nerds, but for us normal people the biggest disappointment will be if we can't romance Bethany.

I don't know about the whole Qunari invasion thing. X360 magazine said that the main conflict in the game was a CIVIL WAR, which implies that it's contained within one country.

I didn't know the Grey Wardens had that many Templars... I suppose, these are the Kirkwall Grey Wardens? The Templars have control over them too?

How could they have control over Grey Warden templars?  When you become a Grey Warden you give up you're past life or you're susposed too.

The chantry has no hold over Grey Warden Templars.

Aren't Grey Warden Templars either few or non-existant anyway. Alistair mentions that the Chantry doesn't usually let out it's secrets that way and that he was pretty special due to him being able to become a Grey Warden knowing what he did. This means that either they can't all be Grey Warden Templars, they are a secret order, or they've retconned that, which is highly unlikely.

It's possible that other Templars got away from the Chantry, this new game does take place in the Free Marches. Alistair may have only assumed that he was the only one and may not know that other's exist.

We know that Duncan recruited Alistair either for him being Maric's son or for his Templar capabilities or both, whose to say that other Warden Commanders might have also recruit other Templars? We don't know one way or other. It could also be a secret order within the Grey Warden's that we don't know about yet. Personally, I like that idea.

What better way for Templars to leave the Chantry then becoming Grey Wardens.

The lore of the game makes it clear that anyone from all walks of life and background can become a Grey Warden.

I can't really tell if it is an army of Grey Wardens or Templars battling those mages.

Hopefully someone can get a better, closer screenshot of those armies.

Also, The Templar crest has a sword over what looks like part of tree on their armour.  Not their shields but their actually armor.

Yeah, I agree with you that maybe one or two MIGHT escape this way. Although they are addicted to lyrium after a certain age sooooo....

What I was referring to was this army of so called Grey Warden Templars seen in the Destiny trailer. There couldn't be THAT many.

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't Kirkwall controlled by Templars?  I thought I read this somewhere.  Anyone know?

Not unless it's a secret order that we don't know about yet.  This is the only explanation that I have to offer.Posted Image

Here's a better breakdown at greywardens.com.

I am also a little curious on why they would jump to the conclusion that it is Grey Wardens fighting mages.

They obviously had some insight into the game and maybe played it. how else would they know 'Flemeth's new host' (Is she a Qunari now!?):o

Yup, I knew I remembered reading something on that, so the Templars have more power it seems in Kirkwall then it does in Ferelden.  Interesting.

I was wondering this myself with those screenshots.  Are Qunari actually shapeshifting dragons?  Holy Smokes Batman!

Morrigan really wanted Sten released from that cage, remember?

Oh no! Now I'm gonna have to replay Origins AGAIN with Morrigan in my party the whole time to see what she pushes to get done in case it has any effect on either Witch Hunt or DA2. And I thought I was done with that game

Edit: Brockololly seems to have another screenshot I've never seen before here too: http://social.biowar...-4571527-1.html

Seems like he has some inside information that we don't.

Those are Templars, not Grey Wardens. Why would Grey Wardens fight an army of apostate mages? That's like calling the plumber to come fix your computer.

And that's just Flemeth, who looks a bit different. Putting aside from the fact that she might just look different because it's a brand new game, she is a shapeshifter after all. A very powerful one. She can probably look like whatever she wants. Also, it's all but impossible that Flemeth could have been pseudo-killed before the point when she meets Hawke et al.

And aside from any of that, this post by Chris Priestly pretty much makes it clear (as clear as someone from BW can be):

Chris Priestly wrote...
