Wasn't Ferelden, before Calenhad united it, much like the Free Marches? Independent city states in conflict which each other. In a way Hawke could be the Calenhad of the Free Marches or not.

How is it that the Kingdom of Ferelden got occupied by Orlais and somehow competing city states avoid being invaded by Tevinter or Orlais?

On another note, Flemeth never appeared to be taking on a leading role in history. She is a person of legend, yes. But appartently only interested in her own survival. Morrigan on the other hand, has an hidden agenda or took over Flemeths (We'll see how it turns out in the DLC). Both are shapeshifters, therefor can appear in any form they wish. (a younger version of themselves,...)

Morrigan never took on the form of another person or so she told the warden, because she didn't have to. When she has to, she will do so.

That they're re-using assets to save money and they couldn't be bothered to make up an entirely new environment for a scene that is barely visible in the trailer ?

morrigan herself tells you that the human form you see is the only one she has.

Because Morrigan has never lied to us before, right?

Woah, I didn't notice that. And it's first-person! Maybe it's not Hawke? That is the only first-person clip in the trailer so it looks important. The person in the clip then shuts the door! I have no idea what it could mean though.

Considering the flashbacks are going backwards i think he is actually opening the door, not closing the door.

Actually, I can't remember Morrigan outright lying. A couple of things she failed to mention, but that's not the same.

Mm...I'd say her pretending not to know why Flemeth sent her with you is a lie. The whole "I want an OGB" thing she lies about.

I seriously doubt Flemeth is as indifferent to the wider world as she appeared to be in DA:O.  Since she is the one is the thousand-year old abomination (or so it is said), I would put her interest and ability at manipulating events at a much greater level than Morrigan's.

Considering we are doing what we are doing, I doubt it.

Two fold. Yes, it saves money. Also, it shows us who do this stuff to the trailers, that we are going to the Deep Roads again. The first trailer showed us the Deep Roads, using the same place again shows that we are going back.

A battle between Grey Wardens and a red robed mage army? Now THAT's interesting.

Looking forward to learning more about the game.

Except Priestly kind of sort of said that they probably weren't Wardens as they kind of sort of made some of those "facts" from the video up....

They're Templars, not Wardens:wizard:

Yea, just found out.

Well that sucks. Maybe Gamestrailer should say when they are speculating.

Mages vs templars suck? Not IMHO I'm hoping the major conflict in the game is bring the chantry down or propping it up.

No, that doesn't suck. Gamestrailer saying that they are Wardens out of nowhere as a matter of fact sucks.

Morrigan also cannot shapeshift into a dragon.  If we discover that the centuries-old abomination is capable of feats of shapeshifitng that her (most recent?) child can't hope to match, I will be neither disapointed nor suprised.

She does tell the warden that in order to learn a new shapeshift form you have to become one with the spirit of that creature or something like that. So which spirit is in her unborn? A dragon spirit?

I think that Flemeth will play a major part in the Templar/Mage fight by getting all the mages to fight against the chantry. If you notice, the terrain where Flemeth is standing is the same as the place where the mages are fighting. She could be leading them to a revolution and bring the Chantry to its knees.
