I am trying to think of heroes who have the highest body counts. Shepard seems to be one of those people. If you had to estimate how many people do you believe Shepard has killed.

From just the games, or does this count Shepard's career as a whole, such as his/her actions on Torfan or Elysium? Does the nuclear bomb on Virmire count too? What about if you destroyed the Geth Heretic space station?
If it's not their already, it's got to be nearing quadruple digits.

This counts Shepard's entire career. Therefore, yeah, a lot of people are dead thanks to our hero.

I think only "fight" kills count when it's about k/d ratios. It's cheating when NAZ*S killed people who are either tortured, defenseless or tied to a chair/bed.

Based on world population at the time, I believe Genghis Khan was responsible for the greatest percentage of humanity wiped out.
Shepard has probably personally killed several hundred creatures and synthetics in regular combat. In terms of deaths he has caused or ordered...difficult to say, because there are things like the Destiny Ascension to consider.

Shep's K/D ratio is so high its undefined: observe: ∞ / 0 = undefined. (assuming you don't take into account his first "death") Nobody can beat Shep's K/D ratio. Not even Stalin or Hitler.
Stalin's K/D is roughly 100,000,000 / 1 = 100 mil
Hitler's K/D is roughly 12,000,000 / 1 = 12 mil
Shep's K/D is ∞ / 1 (assuming you do account for his "death") = ∞

I wouldn't think so. Afterall he kept killing people even after he died, due to his revival. That is a whole other league than anyone else mentioned in here.
And let's not forget he was the responsible person to kill Sovereign, so he is the only one up to date to succesfully extinct an andvanced sapient race. I guess that give bonus-points.
