I wouldn't think so. Afterall he kept killing people even after he died, due to his revival. That is a whole other league than anyone else mentioned in here.
And let's not forget he was the responsible person to kill Sovereign, so he is the only one up to date to succesfully extinct an andvanced sapient race. I guess that give bonus-points.

Humor. It is a difficult concept.

But just for argument's sake, technically, the crew of the Normandy killed Sovereign--Shepard just wounded it.

I agree with all of you that Shepard's kill count is MONSTROUS. I'm not exactly sure myself, but I just know it's huge.

From just the games, or does this count Shepard's career as a whole, such as his/her actions on Torfan or Elysium? Does the nuclear bomb on Virmire count too? What about if you destroyed the Geth Heretic space station?

If it's not their already, it's got to be nearing quadruple digits.

If individual heretic programs count, Shepard is probably closing in on billions.  The station alone had several million, and every hub she destroys contains large amounts of heretic runtimes.

See the problem here is however many people have played ME and ME2 and then however many Shepards they made. Shepard is the only one who can take on the Reapers because s/he's the only one who has beaten their kill count.

With modern weaponry n all you'd think there would be a way to put down an opponent without it being fatal. I mean...That would be truly evolved weaponry eh? Subdue without killing. Then if you DID kill someone it would have actual impact as you've gone beyond the norm, made an exception. The shooter fans still get the satisfaction of pew-pew and you don't have to feel like some barbaric mass murder with a cause. Kinda like when you play Paragon Shep but toss that Blue Sun merc out the window anyways cause maybe for that brief moment your fed up with being shot at and having to deal with insolent hostiles who aren't smart enough to keep themselves alive.



P.S. I'm pretty sure Nathan Drake has the highest body count. Cold **** too as he can mow down a dozen or so men and crack a joke a few minutes later.

Sovereign's K/D is probably around of I don't know... He destroyed all life in the galaxy multiple times. Maybe 1000000000000000000000000000000 or so.

Bad jokes aside, I don't really think Shepard is the sort who'd count his kills. Garrus, yes. Shepard, no.
(Mind you Garrus probably lost count on that bridge so you wouldn't get an answer from him anyway)
