Had some extra points and figured that I'd finally break down and get this, since I have to kill a few days till I can get Mafia2, so after buying the points I go to download and get this : error code 80070570 been at it for almost an hour now, same sh*t every time, really starting to get pissed off. Tried everything on xbox live support about the error and nothing is working, sigh, every time I give this game another chance it finds a way to annoy the hell out of me. Can't download it through the marketplace on xbox.com either same message....any ideas?

Clear out pending downloads and any partially downloaded files. Other than that, I'm pretty sure that code could just be due to server errors. It might be fine by now.

Just tried again, still the same thing, I can download other stuff fine, but this just doesn't want to download for me. 6+ hours and nothing, well there goes the time I actually had to spend playing it...lol. Try again in the morning I guess.

I'm actually having this problem myself. My video card is fried, so I decided to swallow the exorbitant cost of all of the DLC for my Xbox 360 copy tonight, as I've had a hankering to play the game. I've been trying to download Awakening for hours now. I've fiddled with my connection, the download settings, made sure all relative ports were open... no dice. I had problems getting Warden's Keep and Return to Ostagar as well, but after I queued them through the website, they downloaded fine. Still no Awakening download, though.



After a few seconds on waiting on the download screen, a message pops up that says I cannot download this item at this time. Really annoying.

It could be a problem with the DLC. It may need maintenance, as they say. Someone should probably call and report the error.

Two days now no response here, or e-mail, do they even have anyone working customer service on weekends? Either way this is getting annoying, spent a lot of money getting the points for this that I could've spent elsewhere , like preordering Fallout: New Vegas.
Seems that it's always gotta be something with this game.....hopefully they fix this, and fast, since they most likely won't refund the points, very disappointing thing to happen when I had given this game another chance after waiting ten months for a decent patch, definitely lowers the chances of me buying DA2.

Have you tried to email xbox.com, or xbox marketplace support?... I've downloaded some DLC's from Assassin's Creed and Borderlands, and sometimes they are lagging, taking ages. I'm sure it's not my connection speed since I downloaded other things and it's at full speed, for some reason the xbox live connection seems slow.



Playing Mafia 2 as well, good game but only that, a good game for renting. I'm going to give a go to DAO and Awakenings once I get the a new HDD, perhaps that witch hunt DLC worth it... well, I fancy Morrigan, it'll be nice to see her again, lol.



Try to contact Xbox live support to see if they give you some advice...

I was able to download it last night. Must have been some kind of problem with the Xbox LIVE servers.
