SPOILERS INSIDE! (btw, I registered my game to this email and dl'd Collector gear, why am I still barred from that one "secret" forum?)

Heavy Bone Weave, nuff said.

If the in-game description says we can upgrade Shepard's bones to be nearly unbreakable then why not upgrade Joker's and make them that way?

He's earned it with all the work he's done!  He doesn't do any actual p2p combat per se but he's been just as essential as Shepard has been!  Also, I don't know how fans feel about him but I'm sure a lot of fangirls would squeal about being able to romance him at last.

I am pretty sure Cerberus has already partially upgraded Joker's bones. He can walk, crouch and shoot a rifle.

It's probably a slow process, he'll probably walk normally in ME3, as he was walking almost perfectly at the ending scenes of the game and shooting pretty good at the end of the game (spoiler).

I don't remember all of ME2's plot but is it ever stated that Cerberus is upgrading/healing Joker?

Actually, during ME1 I don't believe he ever states that he cannot walk. Just that he has to be incredibly careful. Dr. Chakwas helped him around if he had trouble I suppose, as she mentions in ME2.

He crearly states that he cannot walk. He says it. He needs the help of crutches (or something) to walk, and even then it's dangerous. Why do you think he says he'll be fine as long as he satys in hispilot's chair.

Cerberus repaired his legs. HE FRIGGIN JOGS WHEN YOU CONTROL HIM!!!!!

I guess I don't remember him ever specifically stating it. Even saying that he'll be fine in his chair doesn't necessarily imply that he can't walk at all. Granted, he wouldn't be able to walk very well at all, but the possibility is there.

I seem to remember him saying something about leg braces, I think. Can't recall.

By the way: No need to abuse caps lock + !. Reduces credibility of your posts.

It would seem that a new (but minor) plothole has just been discovered. However, it could easily be hand waved by saying the Joker disease makes cybernetic augmentation unsafe some how...

Anyone ever notice that Joker has something similar to leg braces in ME2? He has padding that's not on the normal Cerberus uniform.

It's not a plothole. Cerberus genetically reinforces his legs. It's that simple. No plotholes. I believe not explaining it is better. They bring a person back from the dead but can't help a cripple? C'mon...

Nope, the knee pads are in all of the crewman uniforms.

Haha.. If you romance him and is shown a scene of their intimate moment, you might get to see him breaking his bones when he tries certain things with Shepard. :D

Should this ever happen, I think it would be awesome if they take Tali's "But it was totally worth it" line and give it to Joker.

"My legs are broken, I'm exhausted, a little itchy, and Mordin keeps bothering me about some Varren STD. But it was totally worth it."

Mordin? Shouldn't it be Dr Chakwas since he'll be lying in the med bay bed for a good long time. Meanwhile, EDI will take over the piloting of the ship and proclaim to everyone via intercomm "I am the Vanguard of your Destruction". :P

Heavy Bone Weave takes a.... LOT of resources to build. If Joker didn't need them to pilot then TiM wouldn't spend such valuable resources on him given how expensive Normandy 2 was. (first one was 120 billion)

It's unlikely TiM predicted a Collector attack. Now, maybe in the sequel TiM might give it to Joker deciding he's "too valuable" to leave vulnerable in a similar situation or as a reward for the Collector Base.

There, plothole filled and now Seth Green can do female Shepard.

LI considerations aside, Joker can become much less sidelined if something like Heavy Bone Weave is administered. I'm certain Cerberus has the resources to do this, but I'm pretty sure Cerberus isn't going to be Shepard's leash-holder in ME3.

Well if you destroyed the Collector Base then Cerberus is pretty much against you in ME3. I wonder if you did so (destroying the Base), will TIM get angry and treat Shepard like Paul Grayson and try to get revenge?

It's hard to say but Shepard IS valuable to humanity in spite of that.

TiM recently learned the mistake of getting too emotionally involved in a desire for revenge and it cost him dearly.

In any case, isn't it prototype research that Mordin creates based off of lab equipment, schematics and resources collected by Cerberus? As long as Mordin's still around TiM isn't needed to fix up Joker.

But hey, there's finally a possibility for Joker to be patched! He's far too valuable as a pilot to do combat w/ you though.

IF they can rebuild him in should cost six million credits.

And the I want to see Joker as a squadmate for ME3.
