To me, the best explanation of this material is that it would have been the bulk of the "Liara on Ilium" conversations, and was replaced by what we currently have. You can easily see where many (if not most) of the Shep lines that are in the game would have fit (which explains why there are exactly two extra Shep lines).
The somewhat infamous "Hello, again...Shadow Broker" line is
Given the way Shep says "I know you're looking for the Shadow Broker...", though, it seems likely that you originally went there with the sole purpose of taking out the Broker (and saying "Hey" to Liara, of course). In the current game, you have no clue she's after the SB until you ask.
Some of her "Shadow Broker" lines even use the same phrases, or cover the same general topics as her current dialogue, and others seem to have been recorded with more or less the same voice direction having been given. There are a few other reasons to think this was the original Liara sequence, as you'll see. Or, um, hear. Whatever. Anyway, here 'tis:
A reasonable guess is that they planned to have a "Destroy The Shadow Broker" mission in the game early on (probably, the original purpose for Redemption was to set this up. I'm fairly sure it too got a major rewrite after hearing this dialogue), and it just didn't work out for whatever reason (most likely a lack of time and/or dissatisfaction with the how that part of her story was turning out, in terms of writing or design or whatever).
So the decision was made to kill it farily early on in development, and put Liara into a "holding pattern" instead so that they could come back to it later in a DLC, giving them time to devote more attention to it, in addition to allowing them to rethink the whole concept.
Edit: had to correct a mistake and replace the vid.
