Binding maybe? They would need to do something to stop chafing (and I'm being serious btw). No support garments in the olden days after all.

Maybe the indie game Mount & Blade Warband has more agreeable armours, all the armour is designed after Medieval Western and Middle Eastern designs.

Plus you can fight from horseback, apparently that's too expensive for DA to do.

Well, I think back them most women who fought could only do so if they pretended to be men, so they did have to bind them.
Actually, on the subject of cup size, it has increased, even in my lifetime, thanks to an abundance of nutrition (er, more fat people, basically) and the advent of hormonal contraceptives. So whilst big busted women would have existed in the Middle Ages, the average bust size would have been smaler than it is today.
@adneate - is that game fun to play? I have heard some positive things about it and have been looking for something new to play for a bit.

You would be quite correct on that account, from what I know they had it like hell wearing that armor.
Now obviously CalJones is right about size being bigger these days then back then, but Dragon Age, for all it's medieval setting, uses modern bodies as a basis. In that sense I feel the armor is realistic enough for breast size. Obviously armor will make breasts seem bigger then they really are.

It's super hardcore but it's actually really fun, I'm still getting the hang of it but nothing is better than charging at the enemy with a lance under your arm and killing someone in a single hit then trampling the people around him. It plays a bit like Oblivion but with no magic and a pretty deep combat system, oh and did I mention mounted combat? Finally you can fight from horseback in a game, $29.99 for the Warband version with the graphical engine update it's worth a try actually just download the demo it will let you play the main game until level 8 so you can get an idea of what it's like.
