It just struck me like lightning:
I suggest a small scale replica of Tali's Head (maybe two-thirds the size of an avarage human head) where you can take her Mask off.
But now comes the clue:
When you unmask her, you activate an embedded digital Photodisplay, like you can buy in almost every store, that displays whatever photographies you have saved on a SD-Card or USB-Stick.
So instead of revealing her face, you can reveal whatever you hold dearest (or save various funny Tali's Face pictures found in here) to you.
That is awesome, emotionally binding in more ways that just to the game and extremely creative!
Who's with me on that?
That is something I would certainly pay like 80-90 Euro for if I get the game and other mandatory boni too!

i said i dislike the idea, not because of tali, but the idea of digital photoframes is a waste of electricity. i for one always unplug/turn of my power when not in use. so to me, its not so much a good idea.
plus, what about the specific character haters? normandy appeals to all, and who doesn't love legion! his like a cute puppy

Whoops, I mean the voucher for clothing items like a shirt or hoodie. Something like that would be a terrible idea for a helmet since they'd have to make multiple molds and they'd end up loosing money and wasting materials as you said.I've never seen a collector's edition (or any game company, period) create collector's items in different sizes for people to wear. That's a waste of resources. Bungie couldn't do it with the Halo 3 set - what makes you think it could be done here?
Good point, I was wishful thinking, and apparently not thinking at the same time.ME3 comes out next year, right? How would they create tickets/vouchers for a film that hasn't even started shooting yet, let alone finished pre-production?

I say a replica of Normandy, maybe Asari pin ups? Assult rifle replica? OOH Maybe a Behind the Scenes DVD series and overview of the company during ME3 development!
This. As a game design student, I want to see how Bioware works as a team. Especially since I'm familiar with UE3.
Was looking forward to that in the Mass 2 CE, but didn't really get much footage on the extra disc.

One thing i noticed is that everybody and their brother is suggesting ships, this one, that one, etc. So, why not go for a slightly smaller version of three or four. For example, Sovereign, one(or both) of the Normandies/Normandys(???) and a Mass Effect Relay. Not ridiculously large, but a fairly good size, with a stand for the Relay, so you can have it standing on your desk. All high quality, of course, with few or no moving parts.
What say you?

1. A Normandy SR-2 Model with a glass case to store it in.
OR
The model of Sovereign or Harbinger with a glass case to store it in.
2. A fully colored steel book case "ala" Halo Wars. The front cover would be Paragon-inspired with a blue color scheme( Paragon Shepard, , Citadel Space, The Council, Alliance etc.).The back cover would be Renegade-inspired theme with a red color scheme( Renegade Shepard with his scars, Terminus Space, Cerberus, The Illusive Man, etc.). The interior of the steelbook where the game and manual is contained would have concept artwork of the Battle with the Reapers.
3. Bonus DVD with Behind the Scenes, Bloopers, Trailers, Exclusive Gamer Pictures and Theme(Xbox and PS3).
4. The Full Soundtrack of Mass Effect 3. Physical or Digital. (Whatever is easier for you.)
5. An art book similar to the Mass Effect 2 Collector's Edition.
6. Exclusive DLC. A Full "Reaper" Inspired Armor and Weapon. Similar to the Collector's armor, but interchangeable pieces like the N7 and Kestrel Armor.
I would easily pay $150 if the Normandy SR-2/Reaper was crafted very well and looks authentic.

2) Datapad with full copy of codices (from all 3 games), bonus vid clips, and additional flash storage space.
3) In-game copy of Shepard VI. (constantly belittled by Legion and EDI)

A thumbdrive in the form of a mass relay, the normandy, or a mako would be cool.

Throw in Asari pin ups and the Omni Tool Idea someone said and I'd pay $160+ without second thought.
I VOTE THIS ONE!
