Being the Uber CE, I'm hoping you're going all out like MoH. Sure it's about 300+ AUD, but I'd easily pay up to 400 if ME3 delivers.
So here's what we need...

- USB stick, either an 8 or 16. Contains the codices, all the comics, screensavers, themes for Win7, history.
- CE DVD with your usual stuff, making of, trailers, etc.
- Music CD.
- Steel case, painted.
- Stylish ME keyring
- Posters of all 3 games, team shots?
- Special EXCLUSIVE DLC. Not just your run of the mill stuff, stuff that makes you feel superior.
- Tali Reveal.
- Normandy.
- Art Book, compilation of any and all art, even the blooper art.
- All the stuff has a unique number and ID
- Special DogTag with a Unique ID. (Chris, is there ANY chance at all that when we pre-order this, the Tags are printed with our names?)

i agree withe verything except the dog tag pre order thing. dont do that! cause its gonna be only availible to people in the US and the rest of the world will be screwed over.

Got another one:-

A Mass Effect style real electronic datapad that contains the full galactic codex covering all three games (as well as the novels, comics, etc.), including a galaxy map and voice-over narration like in the game.

I'd like something useful that I could take into real life with me that isnt just going to take up space:

1. a stuffed Normandy

2. a cool watch

3. a night light

4. a necklace (I like the dog tags of your favourite characters)

5. a set of pens, one for each character

6. If your LIs give you something in the game (a present), include that!

An EXACT replica of Jokers baseball cap (but maybe with SR3 if needs be ;-)

ME3 weapon of some sort

But the hat would be first choice!

My idea is to include a replica from a Reaper (for example "Harbinger"). It doesn´t have to be huge! And in the darkness you can turn it on and the eyes of the Reaper begin to shine. Like a normal lamp, you know. But a super-super Bonus Disc with all the actors, where they speaking their lines, would also be great.

1. A special suit of armor, but make it piecemeal like the N7 and Kestrel armor. The whole thing with the original pre-order armors being a single unit each was a terrible idea in a game with armor customization. I'd like something akin to the texture/mesh of the Mercenary Heavy Armor from ME1.

Perhaps a set of weapons that match the armor thematically, as well, like the Collector Assault Rifle. Only, please don't give us biological weaponry like ME2. I really don't like how it clashes with all my tactical tech.

2. A bonus disc that includes voice actor interviews.

3. A Cerberus or N7 t-shirt.

I'd recommend including something iconic or something that can be "used."

The scale model of the Normandy or a Codex is a good idea (though I would lament the lack of functionality in the latter), but I'd like to chime in with a replica of Garrus's headset. It might be too niche, though, for the broad market.

I don't know if something like this has been suggested yet but;

I would like if instead of this deluxe edition having a big desk hogging prop; it had something that would make the game feel a lot more personal; like the steel box being custom-printed to have OUR Shepard on it.

You could have a character creator client like the one for Dragon Age, only instead of transferring it into to the game, it would upload to the website you ordered the game from, and imprint it onto your case from there.

A little Die cast (no easily broken plastic!) Model of The Normandy. Maybe with a little stand so I could put in it on my bookshelf next to the Vault Boy Bobble head.

Ahh the epic Vaultboy Bobbleheads lol.

Still, I would much prefer something I can get some use out of. A large scale version of the Normandy would be ultra cool, although a Geth desklamp would give me some actual use, and would just look totally insane.

Terror_k has the right idea.

A complete trilogy wide galactic codex hardback book would be a huge draw.

Apart from all the 'smaller' things like dog tags and hats, lets focus on the 'big' item in the pack. There seems to be a big debate over the main item. Personally, I think the Normandy model is tacky, and the Geth head lamp is just plain unnecessary. I can see the appeal for the model Avenger, but personally, i'd go for the N7 Helmet. Those seem to be 'the big four'.

I propose that there be different collectors editions based on preference:
  • Paragon edition: N7 Helmet
  • Renegade edition: Model Avenger (or other weapon)
  • Spectre edition: Model Normandy
  • Heretic edition: Geth head lamp
Obviously the names and items could change and be expanded on, but you get the point.

EDIT: On a side note, I firmly believe that the items in these packs should not be released anywhere else.

Hay, that sounds great. I already argued for a Normady model for an ME1 special edition back in the old days, so I would still go with that.

I would prefer a model of the SR1 though but considering that ME3 is probably gonnna continue in the SR2 this is less than likely. I still see the SR2 as a cerberus vessel and thus I can't really like it as much as I did the SR1.

A Battle of the Citadel Diorama would be cool as well. Or maybe a book full of ALL of the concept art images from the Mass Effect series, including maybe some blueprints as well?

I'd love to see the N7 shoulder-piece that Legion has, maybe on little stand.

A book would be nice, but I meant a proper electronic affair. Kind of like a fancy PDA thing, but purely a codex.

As an addition, I'd like to suggest that the Codex datapad can be updated (thanks to a USB connection) over the internet to keep it up to date with future DLC, novels and other ME products down the line.

Awesome though that would be, I suspect very few people would be willing to pay the several hundred dollars it'd cost.

Or how about a Mass Relay table lamp (you know, to stand vertically like the conduit relays) with a blue light within the rings?

I'm a big fan of the M8 suggestion. Another idea could be to make all the DLC free with the insane edition or whatever it ends up being called.
