Really, I want this to be affordable guys. The amount of stuff you're all mentioning in the same post would have to fit in a large plastic bin. Really, the only thing I want is the statue of The entirety of Shepard's team through all three games. That would be positively brilliant.

I have a few suggestions; obviously i don't expect all of them to be featured in one edition that would be insane. These are just some ideas that I was thinking of:

• A scale model of the Normandy...
• An exact replica of the assault (That could light up)...
• An exact replica of Shepards' helmet like the one that can be found at the Normandy crash site and placed on the desk...
• A replica of legions head that can be used as a lamp...
• Or a model of some kind featuring all of the main characters form the game old and new...

DEFINITELY SOME DOG TAGS WITH COMMANDER SHEPARDS NAME AND ID ON THEM!!! that would be very cool indeed.

The Full 14 hour production of William Shakespeare's Hamlet, directed by Francis Kitt and featuring an all-elcor cast on DVD. If not the full 14 hours then at least the Abridged home version. You can make it using the game engine and character models. I would totally watch it.

I think a scale model of the Normandy would be the best idea. Dog tags for "Commander Shepard" also sound cool.

A statue of Shepard (wearing a helmet, of course) standing by 2 squadmates (who could be decided by a poll. Garrus and Tali would probably win) would also be very cool.

Only problem is the model for Shepard's armor would probably be male, so half the hardcore fanbase would feel left out. They could release two versions, one with a male model and the other with female, but that's not likely to happen.
If you guys release an "uber" edition for ME3, I would feel obligated to buy it, so don't make it too much money!

I love the idea of a scale replica of the Normandy, or a geth head lamp...Personally, I'd prefer if it didn't have to fall back on gimmicks like the ship opening...Usually that stuff ends up looking horrible and takes away from the general appeal of the item when it doesn't have the cutaway section removed, etc. Just a really nice model of the outside would be great IMO...



As for all of the character statue ideas- as much as I love collecting maquettes and things, I think releasing character merch with the set would be a mistake. The fanbase seems to be pretty hardcore about who they do/don't like. One group would be ecstatic and the other pissed off. If a character figurine was something that absolutely needed doing, the "safest" bet would be the same default M!Shep we see everywhere. Even then, that kind of stinks for those of us who play custom M!Sheps or Fem!Sheps. "Immersion" and all that rot.

How about just to be or not to be as an in-game easter egg for collectors addition only?

Replicas are boring imo, the only good idea's i read where:



- Legion lamp or doll that does the robot



- Software to record own voice for sheppard (would be funny xd)



- Liara T'soni (blowup)doll



- Mass effect codex hardcover or the crazy idea of a real datapad with the codex (this hurts you)



- Harbinger or other reaper voice device (this hurts you too)



- A copy of fornax (no comment)



- A Shepard VI, you know the one Mouse was selling



- Blasto's movie, or the abridged version of hamlet



- Dogtags (digital ones, you know the ones where you can change the name)

It's been said numerous times, but I'd love a model of the Normandy.
The idea of a collected codex from all the games is also incredible.

How about three lithographs, each one detailing a highly emotional point in each of the episodes, i.e leaving Ash behind with the nuke and something from the suicide mission. Or maybe have several options to pick from and when you order the "uber edition" you can select what you want...

it's a way to really have a personal experience becuase they were choices made by the player, but they are set choices so you can easily mass produce them..

Oo this sounds over the top and all but I like the power cell box idea, totally buy that.

I'd go with the datapad/E-Book reader, loaded up with all codex from ME and ME2 (and by-default locked ME3 codex), concept art, Mass Effect Galaxy (and any other similar games that'll be made for ME3), with half-off discounts on purchases of ME novels and comic books for the thing. It'd have to have a built-in speaker, though.

The Normandy desktop model would rock, too.

they make ebooks... some sort of advanced ebook that comes loaded with the entire codex but could be used for other books sounds good... i would not buy anything that came with replica/models as the selling point as some are mentioning and I own a good amount of collector's editions, etc...   Something like that would probably sell better not to mention be usable instead of collecting dust.  Also, as much exclusive in-game content as possible to top it off would be good but this time if you make helmets, make them removable and more appropriately fitting depending on if you use a male or female shepard.

How about a scaled fully articulated model of the Normandy? Depending on the survival of the SR2 Normandy you could choose that model or the SR1 Normandy from ME1. Either one I think would be a great addition.

Off the top of my head, I believe a model of the Normandy would be perfect. In my opinion it is the most iconic thing in the game. I like your idea of it lighting up the galaxy map but I would like to add a model Joker flying the ship. The Normandy is nothing without him.

I also think another good idea would be to have all the main characters in one statue (like the Halo Reach Noble team statue with legendary edition). Even though Shepard is the hero, the squad is what makes Mass Effect what it is.

Maybe a book with all the codex entries

I'll have some more ideas after i think about it
