N7 helmet. A battle worn one. Or maybe the team statues, like the halo reach CE is doing.

We've already got head wear from Modern Warfare and Halo. I'd prefer a replica pistol of the Carnifex or Predator.

Yes, or something with all the ME trilogy squadmates on it. (this would require a large mousepad :P)

A dancing shepard doll. You stand him up, push the button and he says "wanna dance? Watch this:"

like the dancing baby, but shepard.

I'd like to see a replica piece, although I'm not sure what of. Maybe a replica Sovereign or Normandy SR-2? Failing that, a desktop-sized (i.e. one that fits on your desktop) replica of a weapon - similar to the Dragon Age letter openers.

However, my perfect "uber" edition would be the game, the complete soundtrack, some extra in-game content (armor/weaponry, perhaps, alongside casual outfits), an art book and a good quality t-shirt.

I like the Geth lamp idea, especially if it has a speaker you can bump elevator music from ME 1 on...

Chris Priestly wrote...

Hi Folks

We are looking for ideas of what you want to see in an uber-collector's edition for Mass Effect 3. Now, by "uber" I don't mean the sort of usual collector's edition with maybe an art book, soundtrack, DLC items, etc. I am looking for ideas for a super-exclusive (and likely rather pricey) super edition item that would be for the hardest of hard core collectors.

Recently there was a Collector's Edition of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 that came with a set of working night vision goggles. That is the sort of idea I am looking for here. If you can suggest other "uber" editions from other game companys or what you would like to see, we are looking for ideas.

For example, my idea is to have a desktop replica of the Normandy done to scale that would come with a section of the roof you could lift off and see a light up galaxy map inside.

So let us know your ideas. Don't worry about things like "how would you ship them" or "the cost would be too high" or whatever. Throw out your ideas and we'll see what the Dev team does with them. :)

Shepard's old N7 helmet, like the one you find at the *certain spaceship whos name rhymes with Mormandy*'s crashsite.

A carnifex hand cannon. Preferably functional. With cutscene compatibility for those epic real-life moments.

A drop of Tali's blood.

Progressive X-Rays of the bones of a certain character who look's like Mark Vanderloo during a Certain Cerberus-funded zombification project.

Exclusive recording of various characters on the Normandy talking to each other.

Mordin fully singing the entire Gilbert and Sullivan song that he did.

A geth lamp with maleShep and FemShep on both sides of it.

EDIT: Also, along with the above or not if it is too costly. Okay, this is something I have not seen posted on here. There should be a visor ( sort of like the Archon Visor ) and when we put it on we can see the universe with planets spinning and rotating around their suns. While this is happening the Normandy should fly around in random areas of the universe. It would be sort of like those magic binoculars that has a running waterfall when you look inside of them. Well Mr. Priestly you told us to be creative: This is me doing just that lol :)

definately one of the models you can collect for shepards cabin in me 2. A model or sovereign, or the normandy, or a citadel replica would be awesome. I have never bought a collectors edition of a game before, but i am DEFINITELY going to buy the collectors edition for me 3.

heh. some cool ideas here. Geth head lamp, replica weapons...

How about a diarama of the SR2 Normandy's Captian Quarters? Imagine villain heads mounted on plaques on the wall over Shepard's bed.  And maybe a geth head lamp on the nightstand!  XD

Imagine: Saren's head with glowing bits, A chunk of Nazara, Harbinger's face, ME2 and M3 final boss's head. Hell, maybe include the Illusive Man and Shadow Broker too.

My vote goes to a miniature replica of a Mass Relay, which you can plug into a USB port on a computer so it can light up and have the inner ring spinning. Would make for a great desktop prize. :)

How about a real 1:1 scale datapad, which would have the entire accumulated codex, news feed archive, and other awesome stuff!

A Normandy replica would be great. That way you can place all the ME action figures inside too, if there's space.

For any sort of figurine or replica, I can see them adding one version but not all of them. If they did include all of them, it'd be of lesser quality than if they had concentrated on just one. So I can see them making a high quality figurine, but only include one and then selling the rest through their store. Same with the ships or mass relay.

The reason I'm not keen on weapon replicas either is because everyone's favorite weapon is different. Also, I'd like my weapon replica to fold into its passive state. That way I can advocate them creating my beloved Widow and it might actually be able to fit with the packaging.

- Steelbook... Always. ;)

- Hardcover book: Ships and Weapons of Mass Effect. :)

- Normandy SR2 replica model. :D

- Soundtrack Vinyl.

- Shep Head Pen drive. :P

- In game exclusive full set armor. :o

- DVD bonus: making of, deleted scenes, etc. ^_^

- Shepard small figurine. B)

I probably pay 150 bucks in an edition like that.

I like the idea of an SR2 replica, but I wouldn't make it openable.

I would like scale models of the Normandy 1,2 and if there is one 3.

But I'd like them to be the kind of models airlines use in their offices.

Painted, made of metal and about a foot long, with a stand.

Definitely a Normandy replica. No moving parts or anything, though. If you include a "hardcover" art book this time, make it be like a book's cover, not that crap that was the one for Mass Effect 2's art book.
