That was the first thing I thought of too. Plus lots of people here have said in the past that they'd love a Normandy model.

I was going to write about the full scale datapad with galactic codex before I saw that it had already been mentioned. I'd like that! Great collector's item - and functional, too!

EDIT: While I like the idea of an ultimate collector's edition, I hope there'll be other options too! I may not be able to spend triple figure sums on ME3, but I hope there's an option to get a little bit more than the standard edition without breaking the bank.

Ok seriously though, the Geth Desk lamp & full scale M8 assault rifle are cool ideas, my idea for an 'Uber' item would be an Omni tool you could pull over your arm and use it as a remote for e.g. TV or if possible the conversation/mini games in ME (I think subbing it for a keyboard or Xbox controller would be too tricky)

Nah, I think some scale models would fit nicely. The Citadel would be pretty epic. It can sit on a nice stand and can be opened or closed. Honestly, any uber collectors item would surely please me if it has to do with Mass Effect.

One idea i like is the N7 helmet.Just make it all scarred and scorched like the one Shepard can get for his quarters.Also, don't make it out of cheap plastic.



A unique idea i have: a somehow scified plaque with the SPECTRE logo and the full text of the speech the council gives when they give Shepard his spectre comission underneath it.I'll leave figuring out how to make it all sci-fi up to you Maybe combine it with a replica pistol in spectre master gear colors&stamp if feasible.But the plaque alone would be cool

but it should work as an ebook reader! collector's edition items have gone from pieces of junk to things with a degree of practical use... if this datapad worked as an ebook reader bioware would take the cake for collector's editions items that are actually worth owning, and not just some plastic batarang stand that you don't really care about

actually I'd be quite contempt with a normal collector's edition that has an artbook (at least 150+ pages and the size of a book, not a CD case *winkwink*), a CD with the soundtrack



now seeing as it's the last part of a trilogy it could include all three soundtracks, a complete artbook spanning ME to ME3, and the above posted complete codex looks actually very neat



- concerning models of weapons, there might always the question which one to please alot of people? sadly a (wearable?!) replica of an omni tool wouldn't work so well due to the transparent and glowy nature of the omni-tools

- a statue of male Sheploo... you don't want to go there, I believe

- it's a shame Nihlus lasted like what... 10 minutes? a detailed statue (not an action figure) that actually looks true to the character might do it



- on a less serious note, how about a shifty looking space cow piggy bank

I agree with this! It needs to be something functional so it doesn't get forgetton about...
If it doubled as a generic e-book, it would acutally be functional and people would use it more often.
Does anyone know those 'Star Trek: Strange New Worlds' books? They were fanfiction anthology books, and were official star trek books full of fanfiction.

So another idea is to include a bunch of the top fanfiction stories in it, as well as the original books, comics, and of course loads of other material.
There are many great fanfiction stories, take The Reckoning for an example.

maybe like a maquette, with key characters posing, and a slot behind whatever platform they're presented on for the game case to slide into.



but please dont downgrade the case for the game like some others do, ie: collectors edition = metal case, and uber edition = lots o stuff but a plastic case.



and definitely a case style package instead of just some cardboard or paper box to hold/store the contents of the "uber" edition, kind of like FO3's collector edition whereas the contents were kept in a lunchbox which was a cool way of doing it.

a proper diarama of your squad in mass effect 3, with shepard as the centrepiece (obviously proper john shep) would be the most awesome thing ever. something geth related (the geth lamp is nice) would also be cool. the ship is a nice idea as well, but i can see it being more... fragile and fiddly and probably wouldn't survive postage to most places.



i'd also suggest making preorders avaiable here first, to your loyal customers, rather than some dodgy non-global retailer...

I have very little space for extra clutter, but I might be persuaded to pick up a wall-rack mounted Revenant replica, similar to what Morinth has in her pad.



The Geth head lamp and N7 helmet (especially if it's of the tabletop variety, in the vein of the Normandy crash site DLC) ideas are pretty good too.



Another neat idea might be a version of Shepard's alarm clock, including the music selections, especially if the holographic look could be replicated.

Ok, so i know this wouldn't work for the PC version, but how about a 360 in the shape of the SR2?? functional and aesthetic. It would obviously include the CE edition of ME3.

My fav. of the ones that have already been menioned:
A scale replica of the SR2 (1-2ft), with removable decks.
A smaller die cast model of the SR1 like the one placed at the crash site.
A Geth head desk lamp
A chance to be in the ME movie, just a small role, like as a crewman on one of the ships.

All should have a CE edition of ME3 with the extra item.
