A lot of people are just insecure when it comes to boobs. A little size and they get all uncomfortable and some start to even feel inadequate. We can't blame them though, they are taught to idolize people with small breasts (super models) and seeing people attracted to larger busts makes them froth at the mouth because their standards of beauty aren't being universally adhered to. They don't want big breast lovers in their 'sophisticated fandom'.

As a connoisseur of large chested women, I say bully to Bioware for going with the bolder and more exciting option. To be fair to the insecure women, I'm perfectly willing to accept larger bulges as a trade off.

It's has nothing to do with beauty or insecurity (I'm a guy) . It's about common sense.
i give you an exemple hmm..

Let's see

Chun li from street fighter . Let's just say that Huge and wide thigh aren't considered gorgeous by the *media* standard.But for some reason a lot of ppl have a fetish on her thigh . Probably because they're given a purpose since Chun Li do martial art  .She mostly use her leg for attacking.Thus her huge and wide thigh are given a purpose.

Big boobies and skinny warrior/heroine that look like Samatha Fox should not be fighting and killing dragon .. But work for dragon boy magazine

Sure they are. But as I said, male washboard abs are covered up and not apparent until you take off their clothes. If you really want that eyecandy, guess what else you're sacrificing? If the men weren't as muscular, I would be fine with that. So long as he appeared fit enough to wear plate armor and wield a two-handed sword.

It's fine if you want the boobs downsized but stop acting as if only females have to deal with abnormal fantasy ideals in games. Males are equally afflicted and as someone who has played the the role of the sickly mage for forever I've never felt comfortable with my avatar.

And again, as I said, men complain when their character avatars are too skinny and appear feminine a la JRPG heroes. It is something that they want to see as well. Not everyone. But they would like their heroes to appear masculinely heroic. We would like our heroines to appear femininely heroic.

Most of the female armor in Dragon Age: Origins was extremely covering except the leather which looked absolutely horrible. That said, as long as the plate armor doesn't look like this I don't see the issue. It's fine for a mage, male or female, to show some skin.

They also had reasonable bust sizes. You can't tell how, er, cheese-gratey a man's abs look like from beneath his armor. You can certainly see how ridiculous woman's bust size is. Also, Bethany isn't exactly holding hers in. I was very pleased with most of the armor and robes in DAO.

The large breasts just don't make sense in an enviroment where there is constant life or death fighting..especially when these said fighters have probably been doing it their whole lives. Working out for such a long period would cause breast size to decrease..



I have no problem with big boobs in games..it just doesn't make any sense for EVERY female character.

All of this arguing is ridiculous. The real culprit here is being pigeonholed into one body type. I would rather have a more lithe male body for Rogue characters, but I'm still stuck with Brawny McBenchpress regardless of what I do. But an armor display system has to be designed with a variable body type in mind and Dragon Age wasn't, so we're out of luck on that front.

I think between the women and the men who like smaller/more average bust sizes, a larger part of the community would like them to be reduced a bit than would like them to remain the same.
