Some girls just have big boobs. many others pay a lot of money to get big boobs, why?
because we guys like it :-) so Bioware make them as big as you like.
It's Nietzsche all over again.

I agree with the warrior or rogue. But with a mage? I dont think they imped so much the ability to rise your staff and chant something.

Hey, if they give us the option for different body types depending on the class, and the mage has big boobs, fine. That I can live with. However, what we're currently seeing will most likely be the one default female figure. Compare Bethany to her mother in one of the screenshots. Mommy also has a ginormous rack.saruman31 wrote...

What's more important is why the chain mail cuts off below the boobs. She should have scale mail or something protecting those suckers otherwise it's just cloth there. Completely unrealistic!
I don`t think darkspawn cut with the intend of slicing breasts.
No, but the torso is the easiest, and largest, target on the body. It doesn't make sense to run around with your boobs flying in the wind. This goes for men and women alike.

Well, there have been posts by the devs explaining that variable body models would take a lot of extra work because of the armor models. So variance is out of the question, which leaves us with one-size-fits-all. If it has to be that way, then the one size should be less over the top.
In some games, it's possible to have armor fit adjustable bodies. For example, in Aion, shoulder/chest/waist/hip,etc are adjustable. Characters can wear heavy armor/medium/light/robes.

Imagine what would happen if women starting giving men advice about manly things.

Only because they hurt and gave me minor scoliosis. And they make me disproportionate. And the specialty bras I have cost too much. So I bind them instead when I have to, and use regular bras, so that's my own fault.

That character creator looks great. If BioWare don't better this they have failed at life!

Breasts are what make a game attractive? I wonder why Gears of War and Halo are so popular, then...
Hmm, research!

Bethany's breasts look... off. I don't know, they look contorted or something, like the female heavy armors in DA:O. At certain angles, it looked like someone divided by zero or something. Maybe my eyeballs are just weird, I don't know. Maybe it has to do with projecting a 3d model on 2d screen.
I mean, in this screenshot, her left breast looks fine... but her right one looks like it juts out in a awkward, painful, gravity defying way. I don't know if that's just because they're too large or what.

Okay, if big boobs are such a necessity, how come there wasn't a huge thread in the DA:O forums berating the game for having female models whose boobs were too small?

The bulge was disturbingly huge in Dragon Age: Origins. Especially on dwarves. Whenever I stripped my character I could feel that thing staring at me like a vicious animal starving for some fresh meat.
We already had tons of these threads on the old Dragon Age forums not wanting to see a repeat of the horror found in Neverwinter Nights. While not nearly as bad we still ended up with beefcakes. It's just unavoidable when dealing with fantasy. As are big racks.
I wish you luck but ultimately your struggle is pointless.
