Sorry if this may rub some people the wrong way but I just don't get this fixation among our resident fangirls about the size of the DA character breasts. Considering this is a mature rated game played by adults, I find it hard to believe the women playing DA think big boobs are going to somehow implant in the minds of guys playing the game that all women are tramps or something. It is a fantasy game and if for guys that fantasy involves being in a world where all the woman are "well endowed" and spectacularly pretty... while spoil it for them ?
You don't hear the guys complaining that Bioware is hurting their self esteem or stereotyping men by having Hawke and the other male characters in the game look impossibly rugged, handsome or muscular.
Hear, hear!

On a serious note... Only LIs should have hot body. Rest can be ugly and flat.
Did you think Morrigan and Leliana's bodies weren't "hot"? If their busts are average, I'm fine with that. Just not what Bethany is trying to pack in unsuccessfully.
Hmmm, maybe Bethany's are "weaponized"? Get too close and you lose an eye!

Don't try to make it more significant than it is; the way I see it, they just want to play with a character that they think looks good as a fantasy heroine.
Well its one thing to be able to ask Bioware that they have the abilty to adjust the breast size of the "Hawke" character they are playing with and fine... I can live with that. But to object to Bethany and any other female character involved in the game just because of how they look in a shirt ?
I hope thats not the point of this thread.

Sorry I must not have been loud enough.
That ridiculous Calvin-Klein look will be dropped the moment I get the game.

Actually I prefer talking to her over Alistair, Oghren, Shale, Zevran, Wynne (surprise?) or the man dream Leliana (which man doesn't want a bi-girl?).. Her character is just better in so many ways, well ok, Sten got on par lately for me after I unlocked the secret to keeping him happy instead of just having the "No" sten around all the time,
Oh well fair, to me she doesn't. I really like the calculating looks she can give and still be so very deep in the

That's hilarious, Dragon Age and perfect teeth. We ask that they look respectable as fantasy heroines. People are still scoffing at Bayonetta's ridiculous character model.

Firstly I don't think have a Ginormous set of Bristols makes a game 'adult', I find it does the exact opposite. Secondly Dragon Age is supposed to be Dark Fantasy in which realism and believability are essential. Huge bazongas are a kick in the nads to immersion. <_<
I would argue that dark fantasy does not imply realism at all. It's basically fantasy-noir.

Thanks to this thread I spent the last 5 seconds staring at Bethanny's boobs until I noticed Hawke was looking at me looking at Bethanny's boobs.

I laughed.TBH, the reason why I hope it's an exaggeration is because right after the destruction of Lothering, the story returns to normal. Hopefully boobs do too.
Bethany: "Brother/sister?"
Hawke: "Yes Beth?"
Bethany: "...They shrunk."

It's not, and you clearly didn't read the OP. Go do that now. No one is objecting to a woman's presence in the game. Morrigan wore far more revealing clothes than Bethany--and I don't see girls objecting to her character design.

You know what? I have NO PROBLEM with Bayonetta's appearance. It fits the game. Bayonetta is ridiculously over-the-top in everything, including fanservice and I'm 100% ok with that. It's tongue-in-cheek and it's what they were going for. It does not fit in Dragon Age.

yeah there should be more fat people in the DA universe. There were fat people in Jade Empire. I mean I don't want one as an LI or anything but they should be there for visual flavor.
