Those breasts look pretty average to me. What with them all being the same. I found Morrigan to be unattractive. If everyone had breasts and a face/lips like hers, I'd play nothing but celibates/demon lovers.

Now, I'm a great lover of breasts and have no issue with ample bosoms, but to imagine a weapon-wielding adventurer with assets like that makes me feel sorry for the poor lass. Imagine the back trouble! And the discomfort when running! So please, dear BioWare, fix the proportions of (what I assume is) the female model in the game.

Apologies bad choice of word. What I was driving at was it not being High fantasy with its idealism and the like. As a matter of interest how do you define Dark Fantasy? I only ask because I realised I don't quite know. I just have a vague and woolly notion of what it entails.

Dark fantasy is to normal fantasy as gotham city is to metropolis

"dark" elements are exaggerated.  Like noir-ish detective stories, but in a fantasy setting.  Dark and seedy with a bunch of shady characters like Sin City.  Villains are suitably vile and femme fatales are suitably tempting.  The hero has a sketchy past and sketchy motivations but does the right thing in the end.  The cops and government are usually corrupt and the prostitutes are noble.    

Apply all that to fantasy and you get dark fantasy.

Because it's utterly unrealistic. Women who are that skinny have a very slim chance of being born with breasts that big. Women who are active--and Bethany at least will have to traverse the land with you--even less so.

Hence why I said for the default. I seriously have no problem with big boobs in principle, but having such huge ones for the default is a) unrealistic (yes, yes, fantasy game, I know) and hugely (no pun intended) impractical, and considering the good folks at Bioware get to decide how large they will be there's no reason to give them all something that for the large (I swear, no pun intended!) part will only get in the way.

I think the main question is why would BioWare make female characters that male players find attractive?, surely they don't design male characters that are attractive to female players?, isn't that why Lloyd was an npc love interest like Dairren?

yeah the few skinny girls with natural C-cups look like they have huge boobs.  Anything bigger is almost always store-bought.

First off, I don't really care that Bethany has large breasts because shes not really moving as much as the warriors, what with being a mage and all.



But the female warriors cannot have such incredibly large breasts, it just doesn't make any sense. If a woman typically grew up in an enviroment where she was constantly working out, fighting dark spawn, etc then her breasts would just not grow that large..mostly athletes that have played sports their whole life are not exactly huge in that area.



Im not saying take away all the ginormous Heidi Montag style breasts but cmon..in reality (even fantasy based in reality), it just wouldnt happen.

Someone has already pointed out that there is at least a practical purpose for having muscular men--they are active, and therefore very fit. Women who are active get a decrease in bust size. Also, I see men around here complaining all the time about JRPG heroes being such skinny pretty boys. While many women would prefer for the default model to be more reasonable, many men would prefer for their models to be heroic and masculine.

And someone else pointed out that men don't go around baring their midriffs and washboard abs. They are covered beneath armor. If you want that eyecandy all the time, you'd better be prepared to sacrifice armor and stat boosts for it.
