Eh?  They probably did their biggest promo for DA1 in London did they not?  Was not that where the battle of the Wardens tournament was hosted?

I'd settle for more bad-arse trailers in lieu of PC gameplay.

I'm reading this as "we are building DA2 as a console game and then porting it to PC."

Then you are a muffinhead. :P

At Comic Con we showed 360 only. At Gamescom we showed PC and 360. Now we are showing the PS3 version as we hadn't shown it yet.

Still, keep your fearmongering alive. Nothing we can do or say seems to stop you. ;)

Actually that was my first post on this particular topic.  Perhaps my recent absence from the forums has insulated me from adequate fear-mitigating.

That said I apologize for sounding like a jerk in my last post.  Given the general direction of PC gaming over the last decade some people such as myself have developed a hair trigger on the subject of “dumbing down” games for console audiences.

There's a thread elsewhere for PC gaming elitism.

Read between the lines, folks! PC version of Dragon Age 2 has been canceled! Ewoks are being added as a 5th major race in Dragon Age to help promote The Old Republic! Wardens Keep 2 will cost $30 on launch day!
The legions of evil are on your doorstep! They will feast upon your hearts!

New York isn't part of the community. Didn't you get the memo?

What about the gameplay, will it be nda'd again so those of us who live in the exotic regions of the world won't have any chance at all of seeing it:(?

Now I am confused, I could have sworn I remember reading from a Bioware employee they were making the game on the console first as it was easier to port to the pc, than trying to do it the other way around.

I was responding to the fellow who wrote "I'm guessing that means that the CRPG genre that was essentially created by Bioware and reached its pinnacle with Baldur's Gate II is now officially dead, to be replaced with something more accessible to the less mature console audience," who reiterated the same point later.

I wish I could go, I live in Washington State, but I have to work. Otherwise, I'd go just so I could get a good look at the greyed-out Lady Hawke at the beginning of the demo.

Will BioWare be selling DA2 gear at PAX? It is my first time attending so I have no idea if they will be.

It's times like this when I wish I could afford to go to America :crying:

Is there any chance of you coming to Australia? Any chance at all? We do have a couple of fairly major (for us) conventions you could look into, if not for DA2 then maybe for future games.

If you can't make it to Australia for DA2, could we please have release parties like there were for ME2?

/second nomination for Australia

I know, we barely show up on the gamer scene but we're people too!

You guys would love it, come down for a convention, check out Sydney or Melbourne for a weekend, see the sights, make a big holiday out of it :)
