I have no idea what to search for in the forums so I hope this isn't a dumb question but...

After I play DA:Origins then play awakenings it resets my character achievements.  Meaning I have to get the reaver and champion classes again cause the game drops them.  Then when I play awakenings it drops them after I play and I have to regain the classes in that game again.  Is this normal or am I doing something wrong?  Also it shows a weird name under my save games...any idea how to avoid this or fix it?
