Why is awakenings only bioware game that is broken? they havnt made 1 bad game until awakenings because of how easy the difficulty is, It makes the game non replayible because its so easy even on nightmare, You dont even have to controll your character to win fights its that easy.
Soon bioware are going to ship the dragon age ultimate edition that will have all the dlc and awakenings.
What are people going to think when they play awakenings after dragon age?
They are going to see that bioware has ripped them off by giving them an unplayible game because all u can do is watch because the game is that easy you as a gamer dont need to do anything but just sit back and watch the fights.
Awakenings is your only broken game so far bioware in your entire history of making games, Why let it stay that way?
Bioware's only broken game so far.

Agreed, Awakenings was way too easy for an rpg. I have not played the PC version so cannot speak for that, but the Xbox 360 version was basically nothing but an interactive movie. Great story but WAY too easy.

I dont understand how the game could of shipped with it being this easy. An expansion is meant to be even harder than the normal game because we are allready familier with the basics. Hell even someone who never played dragon age would find awakenings easy.
Its not the fact that if ur good at the game, Awakenings just doesnt have any challenge at all because everything you fight is so weak.

Awakening got game-breaking issues, glitches, both graphical and technical, obvious bugs and numerous of exploits. And of course, It's too easy on regular difficulties. And from the looks of it, no support, or so it seems.

Well its been months since they supported it and in the recent patch they hardly fixed anything at all.
If awakenings difficulty isnt fixed for when dragon age ultimate edition comes out, I can see it hurting DA2 Sales because awakenings will give people a bad impression of biowares gaming capibilitys

no it won't.
Don't pretend you know anything about gaming sales because it's clear that you don't
if people sit through Dragon Age: Origins and think it is an amazing game, they will probably buy DA2 regardless of how ****ty awakenings was, after all, it was JUST an expansion pack, you're acting like it's a full game.

You admit awakenings is a bad game, I think its great besides the easy difficulity, thats the only thing they need to fix.
Why would bioware not fix it? its their only broken game at the moment.
They should keep their reputation good.

Since those people that waited will be getting everything at once, it's more likely they'll see Awakening as something of a bonus campaign rather than a true expansion. I mean, they'll still be playing Origins for the first time ever.Aldaris951 wrote...

Oh I see, so you people would like to see bioware not patch/support their games? It is not too late to fix awakening, if they do not then it remainds on their record of being their only broken game thus far.

I dont know if Awakenings is bad, I've not played it yet. But to me, difficulty doesn't dictate enjoyability, I've completed Origins on nightmare and easy and I enjoyed them both equally.

Some people have brain damage here... It's Awakening, NOT Awakenings.
Also, I don't mind easy games, I love them. Well, maybe it should have been harder on Nightmare.
The problem with Awakening is broken stuff. Wrong models used for armor and weapons, broken quests.

I have not purchased it for those reasons after seeing it played by my friends account...
So I agree I am also dissapointed on the patch work for ORIGINS still missing content and buggs that have atleast been fixed by community players for the PC but for those console people they get shafted.
It has been a good while this game has hit and the only reason I play ever now is because of the great player made content for the PC. Without it I would have played only once...
Bioware has dissapointed me majorly as a long time fan... Same with ME2 and SWTOR info makes me less wanting...

Awakenings isn't going to be patched for the same reason as no more Origin DLC: DA2 .

I said nothing of the sort. All I said is that people buying the "Ultimate Edition" are less likely to be frustrated by Awakening than people who bought it as a standalone product.Aldaris951 wrote...

Increasing level cap, new specializations and more powerful equipment are perhaps the reasons many find Awakening too easy. Dragon Age does not have a set elaborate and well thought game rule, I actually went as far as calling it broken and flawed because the rules in Dragon Age is at best as elaborated as one of the moderate free MMORPG out there.
Thus, when the level cap is increased, the weakness of the shallow game mechanics starts to shine. Most games become really boring when there are:
1) Stat inflation
2) Equipment inflation
3) Skill inflation

I cannot say it is broken, as I finished it for the first time today. Last patch seemed to work well for me.

I'm pretty glad I passed on Awakening actually. At first I was interested, but I slowly lost interest once I realized how many more hours I still had to go in vanilla Dragon Age.

Awakening is a good game. I've done a few playthroughs now and I really enjoy the story, but gameplay wise its way too easy compared to Origins. Nightmare feels like Normal...I felt no real challenge.

I hope bioware fixes this game, otherwise it will just prove that they don't care.
