this is probably the wrong section if sorry

my friend who also has mass effect 2 recently perchesed the overlord dlc as well as the kasumi dlc ive played it on his pc and they both seem pretty good so he has offered to give me the files on disc im pretty sure that it would be a wast of a disc to do so but i thought id ask is it possible for me to use the file with my copy of the game?

No, it's not. If you install any DLC that you don't have registered, you won't be able to use it. If you purchased it then I'd wager that you'd be able to use his installers instead of downloading (if you can't download a lot each month, as an example), but otherwise, no.
