Patrick Weekes is allowed to dress up as Jack, because he created the character... and IIRC it was Halloween.

Patrick Weekes is the staff writer at Bioware who created the Jack character.

According to this article, he may also have a hand in Aria, as well as the the Citadel:Homecoming assignment in ME1.

I am a horrible person. While looking at the Miranda pics, I noticed that the hexagonal pattern was just an overlay (a decent quality one, but still), and now I can't unsee it.

Also, standard Cerberus uniform or not, it takes extra tailoring to get it that form-fitting, and the knee-highs are almost-assuredly NOT standard. Nor are the tight white pants, as the guys on the sides are wearing black slacks.

Are there any pics of a FEMALE Jack cosplay? It would take a bold woman to shave her head AND wear a belt-bra.

Edit Response to below:
Being a woman has nothing to do with hair, the defining feature of gender would be their reproductive organs. I've seen women with short or no hair. I would agree that I tend to find women more attractive with longer hair, but Jack was quite attractive to me.

Nor does being male mean you need short hair. I've got hair longer than most of my female co-workers.

Also: Have fun with unseeing it now that I pointed it out!

why!!!!, did you say that, now I see it too... damn you lol

....I doubt there would be a woman going as far as to get rid of her own hair....

make a weird haircut, or, cut it in a peculiar way... but shaving it... ugh.

I am sorry, but, bald women, aren't women.

I also noticed the digital enhancements to the Miranda costume, and I found it distracting and disappointing. It's a relatively simple matter to create the pattern on an appropriate textile, though it would be time-consuming. The overall effect would have been much more impressive than the digital shortcut.
