WOW, this was my first single player game since Diablo 2 mostly because being a college student you don't exactly get the best PC for gaming and it frustrates me to play a game that lags....

However even though I'm playing on "low" settings the game is fun and doesn't lag....but my new PC shall arrive soon.

Lets see, this is also my first single player game.

I started pc gaming about 5 years ago, started with Runescape, and then Seal Online, and then Rohan, and then Aion. I quit Aion about 2 months ago because it was too pvp heavy for my taste (great game though). Right now im just taking a break from MMORPGs until Guild Wars 2 comes out this November.

I must say i enjoyed Dragon Age Origins much more than any MMORPG i have ever played. Definately gonna get Dragon age II when it comes out next year~

Also based on a needed system upgrade, I had to leave NWN1 on my old hardware. But that was the first and only m/p RPG I have played.

I quit playing Demon's Souls to play Dragon Age Origins, and I never looked back. I mean, Demon's Souls isn't a bad game, but Dragon Age Origins is exponentially better.

Why do you need to quit playing a game just because you need to play another game? I mean, if the game dont' have any subscription, this to me makes no sense.

I believe I'd quit WoW (again) a couple months before DA came out, so that doesn't count for me.



So, I believe the answers is actually (though "stopped" may be a better word than "quit") Left4Dead1, which my interest had been reinvigorated due to Left4Dead2 coming out soon.

Actually, Mass Effect 1. Even though I beat ME2 twice (one paragon and one renegade), I was rather unimpressed. I bought DAO just after I dropped ME2 for good and went back to ME1.

I was gonna say Diablo 2 as a JOKE!  I stopped D2 in 2003.. and honestly thought it was dead!   What do I know  :

Yeah, I bought a ton of games when I got my most recent XBOX and I just havent finished them, Modern Warfare 2, Borderlands, Fable 2 (which was bad anyway), Mass Effect 2 (which was okay but I found it incredibly repetitive, which is a shame because I loved ME1)



also, Battlefield Bad Company 2 but I've been playing that online A LOT lately.

The major game I quit when I started DAO was NWN2 altho in the couple of months before DAO was released I was fooling with both FO3 and the Witcher - neither of which really suited my playstyle.

Well i was playing NWN2 and thought it was great so i did a little research and found out DA:O was coming out in a few months and it was an instant preorder. I've started playing again after forgetting alot and have all the DLC to keep me going aswell, so i quit nothing back when it was released and i quit nothing this time.



I may quit college to play.................... Nah.

I didn't really quit anything, but I mainly put ME1 on pause and still haven't played ME2 because of DA:O, even though I've had the game since just after Christmas last year.

Didnt quit anything to play Dragon Age mainly because I was playing other games until Dragon Age was released, you know to make time go abit faster heh.

I didn't quit anything either, but I have set aside some games for later. One of them was Risen, which I've not gotten around to yet. After I finish the game I'm currently playing (Divinity 2:Ego Draconis), I plan on another run through DA:O, since the Witch Hunt DLC will be available by then. I did take a short hiatus to run through ME2 when it was released, but went right back to DA:O after that.

I quit Neverwinter Nights 2. Well, I set it aside, but after upgrading my videocard it will crash to desktop after 2 to 3 seconds in any exterior area. So, I effectively quit.
