Ok so i play as a engineer and i have every gun in the game. I have Tali as my shot gunner and Legion as my sniper. (Only tech squad).
I use either the m9 or the m12 smgs as assault rifles. But what should i choose to use for advaced training? I dont really want a sniper. I use one of those two smgs in place of an assault rifle and then have the geth shotgun, or i can choose the assualt training amd use the M8. Smgs get the job done but they dont feel the same. but getting the m8 feels like a waste. Some one convince me to one or the other please. Thank You!

mattock/ SMG and SMG/ Geth pulse shotgun are both good combinations, and really either will work fine.

if you have the locust, I'd probably pick up the shotgun. if not, assault rifles are better at covering mid-long range. its a personal choice really.

Go with the shotgun and charge on in. With all of those drones flying around, no one will be shooting at you anyway.

I would go with this as well. You see too few shotgun-wielding casters around here.And I think this has the potential to be really fun.

Thanks for the advise. Along with drones and AI hacking and domination i almost always go from a team of 3 to outnumbering the enemy.
