 Hey guys this is my first post

I bought dragon age the other day and I heard that there is no awakenings disc for europe, my first question is

1) is downloading it my only option?
2) how many gigs is the download? (I have a slow connection)
3) can I buy the disc from the US (apparently ps3 games are region free) and use it?

And I have questions about awakenings in various situations including the patches.

4) when do I apply the patch?  i.e will i have to apply the patch to dragon age origins then apply the same patch to awakenings afterwards?  Do I apply them at the same time?  
5) Should I finish the first game before downloading or acquiring awakenings or can I get them both for uninterrupted gameplay?
6) Can I downoad the patch via PC and apply to ps3 via USB like software updates for PS3?

Thanks guys, hoping for good advice here as I don't want hiccups during gameplay.

Hello and welcome to the DA Madhouse 

1) Yep download from store only 

2) Cant remember how big the download was but if you are worried download it over night and tell you PS3 to shut off when its finished downloading 

3) Might be region free but the regions have to match if you have Euro Origins then you need Euro Awakening 

4) You will get the option to download the patch for Origins first time you play the game same when you select to play Awakening in the new game menu 

5) You can download Awakening before you play Origins but it is best to finish Origins first for better story immersion

6) Dont rightly know but an educated guess i would say no, probably just an option for Firmware updates for the PS3 

All the best in the game , remember to talk to everyone and look everywhere  (R2 button is your friend)

3) NO. It won't work with your version of DAO. Your only choice is EU PS store Awakening version.

6) Impossible.
